The impression I got is that "Hakuno" doesn't really have a set gender and just happens to be male in this loop

It's still really impressive and worth a look regardless, though

Also I hear that this is split cour, covering both main routes, so who knows, we might get the female version and Tamamo in 6 months

so DARLING in the FRANXX is the same studio who created Little Gay Academia and Kill La Gay, I saw the trailer but had zero interest at first, now with this image I'm interested, anyone can confirm if its worth yuri-wise?

No yuri thus far, but we're only 3 episodes in. Maybe eventually?

Mahou Shoujo Site's key visual sure is something. Those two do end up together, but it's not really the focus of the series

Speaking of key visuals, the upcoming Aikatsu series looks gayer than it's likely to actually be

Just get a step stool, or a box. The height difference isn't that hard to work around

Kongou-sensei provides a nice demonstration of this(intentionally or not).

He's not a gem

They spend some time menacing Gensoukyou in the epilogue. Compatible power sets and are both terrible people

Takunomi is a mostly decent CGDCT series with what looks like a yuri crush. It also has what's essentially a beer commercial in the middle. There's enough cute girls and slicey life this season that I'm not sure it's worth bothering with

Hakumei & Mikochi is a solid adaptation. The couple-ish bits are a bit more obvious in this form, too

Toji no Miko is working out fine and yuri's shown up

That Trigger show has some good mecha action and I'm worried about it's gender politics

dont you fucking hate it when your watching a yuri anime and the guys are talking about how hard they got in the comments section... .fuck this shit.

Why are you reading comment sections?

Problem with Evergarden is that she wants to know about feelings after fighting a whole war. If seeing her comrades die in the battlefield wasn't enough, I don't see how write letters will help. This plot makes no sense.

Well, she specifically wants to know about love, which isn't really a battlefield thing. But, yeah, the show is worthwhile just for the animation, but I remain skeptical about basically every other aspect

Maerchen Maedchen is a bit ugly but otherwise quite enjoyable. And it features the main character fantasizing about her step-sister and confessing to a girl literally as soon as she meets her. It looks pretty gay

Tachibanakan To Lie Angle

It starts out as a fairly typical harem series but after the first volume it focuses more on the love triangle. Which is really a bad thing since the characters involved are a harem MC, an emotionless girl, and a tsundere. So only one of the main characters has anything like a personality

On that topic, anyone watching the Yurucamp anime and also reading the manga? Is the anime overall better (assumed anime scenery will look much better). And does anime also hint up the gayness as much as the manga?

At the moment I'd say the manga is slightly better, as the anime ran into problems adapting bits that weren't suited to the medium, but having colour and voice acting will help a lot once the rest of the cast shows up. The manga doesn't have much in the way of subtext; the gayer bits were mostly unique to the anime

I thought the first episode of Toji no Miko was fairly decent, but seem to be alone on that. Not the best-looking show, but the writing is fine and the direction above-average. Not much on the yuri front so far, but the OP suggests the main characters will all get paired up

Citrus is off to a good start, which is honestly kind of unfortunate since that means there'll be more people watching as it turns to shit

Pop Team Epic is a thing that's happening. I kind of wonder if there's even a point to making this a series? Most of the entertainment value is watching people's reactions to it, and and the sort of people that give the best reactions aren't watching past ep 1

Slow Start reminds me a lot of Hinako Note; blandly pleasant girls doing blandly pleasant things, without any particularly interesting gimmick. Also, slightly more sexualized than usual. Does look kinda yuri-ish, but unless I hear reports of the anime getting more interesting I don't intend to follow

Mitsuboshi Colors is the best comedy so far

Anime starts tomorrow

The characters are definitely pretty archetypal, but I reasonably liked what I've read of the manga and look forward to the anime

Koizumi has some yuri, but it's also kind of awful. The manga is mediocre, but the anime is just bad. Ugly, flat direction, even the format is wrong

On the plus side, Yurucamp is pretty decent and I think the anime staff ships Nadeshiko x Rin

The first episode of A Place Further than the Universe was really good. I have high hopes for the rest of the series!

Yep, pretty strong start. Also having one of the characters remember the other as "long hair, pretty, smells good" was interesting

It's "Professor", no "Doctor".

"Doctor" is accurate to the Japanese, though that's a weird thing to leave in when they used the localized names for pretty much everything else

Yeah, I think this is about a girl wanting to do her roommate when she has wet dreams. Damn weird presentation, though

It seems to be using some sort of memory erasure/world rewriting plot, but never explains it? Kinda awkward

You mean the whole fall season or just love live? because the s2 is much better than the s1 (s1 was only good past the first 5 chapters or so) plus I got a lot of You x Chika even in the latest chapter so I'm very pleased with it.

Sunshine's not the only thing I've found somewhat disappointing, but I was specifically talking about it. I really liked S1, but S2 got rid of a lot of the aspects I liked. Lot less emphasis of the character relationships, plot didn't feel as cohesive, the pairings were changed...

Two Car was a complete shit show. Not even 'meh' by CGDCT standards.

Oh yeah, how did that turn out? Any yuri?

Also, my friends you won't believe HOW MUCH happiness I felt when I saw "Next time in Love live sunshine...!" I thought it would be the end, I was ready for the end... But we have more aaaaah that was so beautiful, truly a kagayaki miracle

I thought it was obvious that there was going to be another episode around the halfway point. I'm actually not entirely happy about this; I've found this season kinda disappointing and want it over with

There just wasn't any way to end Houseki no Kuni well without significantly deviating from the manga. The next big moment isn't for a while

On a second season, maybe? It certainly seems to be doing well, but there's not really enough material for it at the moment, and I feel like the manga is heading towards the end
