My theory is that at least part of this will involve ensuring that Evie doesn’t get the System in the first place.

Previous chapter had future/alternate Elsa implying the goal was changing the future from Yvonne's perspective, not her past/history/present (with mutual confession and all.) I.e. Yvonne can't change the monster attack we already saw, but could prevent the ones 'Elsa' warned her would keep coming.

So in line with that, she wouldn't prevent the System from having happened, but she could theoretically do something to cause it to break after her departure/return time.

Of course 'Elsa' seems out to change her past, so I dunno. The author has put some thought into timey wimey metaphysics but we have yet to see the dismount.

I've known multiple people who stayed on good terms with their ex, including living together. (Presumably going to different bedrooms? Though I wasn't close enough to ask. And in my college, which allowed co-ed rooms in the dorms, that might not happens.)

As multiple people have complained, customer-san is a copied character design from "lady who likes my sister", with a similar expressionless intensity.

Art style looks familiar but I don't recognize any of their titles.
Anyway, subscribed and expecting an angsty ride.

Natori after being summoned declares she has foresight, much like Lapis's sister. Who I am assuming is Aurora.
That person probably died in front of her trying to save Lapis.
Here again Lapis notes how Natori resembles her, and goes on to warn Natori not to follow the same fate.

It's odd, because Aurora says "the flowers all belong to your family", along with oneesama.

But Lapis does say "in the Tenebrae family".

So I wonder if actually a cousin, or an illegitimate half-sister. Something to be of yet not of the family.

Art and text say high school student, but she feels more like a college student.

Even if it were a necessity of realpolitik to try to extinguish the royal line, if you don't feel somewhat bad about the murder of a blind girl who'd never directly hurt anyone (helped along in this case by threatening a child with death), you're missing some basic human empathy.

Right now, we have enough money, food and other resources to pay for everyone for the rest of their lives.

No, we don't. This is absurd.

99% of money is currently in pockets of 0,01%

I'm pretty sure those numbers are not correct. But more to the point, it is logically impossible for us to all live like rich people. Rich people do not have to work, but people do have to work for things to get done. There is no magic genie that can turn stored-up money into food and health care. If you "distributed the money" and people all tried living like little Elon Musks, they would soon starve to death because no one was growing and distributing food.

According to Figure 3 https://www.census.gov/library/visualizations/2022/demo/p60-276.html the top 5% of the US get 23% of the income. The top 20% get 52%. So if you simply eliminated the top 20% and spread their money around, the other 80% would double their aggregate income. (It wouldn't be that good in reality since the 20% also do some actual work themselves.)

US GDP per capita and median household income are both around $70,000, where a household is around 2.5 people on average. So again, if you flattened the money around, you could make people about twice as well off (ignoring second order effects). Which would be good, but is hardly "all living like royalty".

(Except insofar as technology already has most of us living better than French Revolution royalty in many ways, but that's already true.)

Citrus + discussion 20 Feb 22:40

I actually wonder which demographics want to see the sex. If Seven Seas marketed citrus for late teens, which is 17-19, then the readers will consist of 28 to 30 today. Does sex means the chapter before the end, or the final chapter altogether? Do the 28 years old want to see the sex and then stop following, or the current 19 being all excited to see sex as the be all and end all? I don't think Sabu will use this tactic which many mangakas do (such as Bloom). If she has that in mind, then we will have seen sex in chapter 41 (or Plus chapter "7", in which case what can Sabu do after that?

I don't particularly care about seeing detailed sex. I would just like some clue that they're having a vaguely normal relationship for people who are engaged to be married and sharing a bed and not actually asexual. "Sexy pounce, then cut to post-coital metaphorical cigarette" would be fine. Or kissing. Or cuddling. Anything physical, at this point.

Also there is no reason that sex, shown or implied, has to be a last or penultimate chapter. Sex is not the end of a manga.

When I hear the name "Kafka" I think of the Arknights character.

I think of bugs.

"Sakura-chan woke up one morning to discover that her lover had turned into a giant cockroach."

For someone trained to kill everyone in the forest, she's pretty easygoing...

did you skip chapters or what??? because it seemns you miss every chapter were her attitude about monsters and killing them changes chapter by chapter

There's not killing people, and then there's letting them put you in an embarrassing maid uniform.

So much for last chapter's analyses that had uncle driving Aya to Mitsuki's house and then escaping with "brrmmm".

I was just laughing most of the chapter. Katsuragi was at least trying to be discreet, using her body to obscure what was going on. New girl's just fingering herself at the wall of the gym, so ridiculous.

And also, I just realized that as the title insinuates, the yuri indeed progressed before Yukari made her deadline.

Hah! Nice catch.

Hey,at least we didn't have to wait 100+ chapters just for them to start dating and another 100+ chapters before they get it on like Donkey Kong.

Mei lacks the emotional depth with which to resent this remark.

It's entirely possible that whatever Evie does in the past, she can only limit the number of beasts being summoned, but not stop the attack entirely.

Yeah, she doesn't need to make the existing beasts vanish, she needs to shut off the future flow that Mysterious Lady warned about.
