Merch and music sales(symphogear is a big one) are also sources of income. I would say jts very hard for us outsiders to judge whether a series flopped or not just purely based on disc sales.

Well, tonari vampire was incredibly boring for me.... But I can't believe comic girls and Harukana flopped...

It's actually really rare for Kirara shows to sell well! They make their money back by inspiring people to buy the manga

PS I got a mayor Sounan Desuka? spoiler or rumor and even if it's 10 or 20 minutes now I really don't want to take the risk lo/ let's just save it for later there might be more students in the other side of the isle and... doesn't mean more girls...

Only one of them is actually male and the main cast never knows they're there before they get written out

Are you Lost? is a short series? ahm, well I might as well just jump to the manga right away haha, well, I could watch the first episode just for to get a vibe of the characters in general... But I was very interested, if it's less than 10 minutes then not very much anymore.

It's half-length. ...Which still means that the translated manga covers the entirety of what's likely to be in the anime

Okay, next season:

Granbelm: Cute girls piloting giant robots. From the promotional materials it looks like it'll be leaning into the yuri a bit. Also, it's gorgeous

Machikado Mazoku: Ye olde Kirara adaption

Re:Stage! Dream Days: Another low-rent idol show advertising a mobage. I think this one is aimed at lolicons. Probably going to have some yuri, but probably won't be good

Symphogear XV: Symphogear in general is pretty gay, and it looks like HibiMiku is going to get emphasized this time around...

Are You Lost?: Cute girls on a deserted island. Emphasis is on wilderness survival, but a couple of the girls fairly explicitly have feelings for each other. It's shorts, though

Huh, I was kinda shipping Hino and Nagafuji already, but I wasn't actually expecting the story to pair them up

So basically it got axed, but the author is hopeful they'll be able to continue it with a different publisher. This strikes me as pretty unlikely, but I guess we'll see

Good final chapter, emphasized the parts worth emphasizing (Agari and Koyori being gay for each other)

I'd say the series is pretty good at a chapter level; the characters are mostly enjoyable, the art's dynamic, good handling of tension. But at the larger scale it stumbles with pacing, giving us things like a three-volume fight

Are those two close in the anime? In the game Mallow seems to be interested in Olivia
