i think it was subtlety explained. observing a system means the system must interact with the observer, so basically the observer is also being observed by the thing they are observing. because Gaku is observing Yukari, Yukari can observe Gaku in return. Yukari is still somewhat aware of what happened because she never got rid of her own quantum eyes. that, and im pretty sure God-Gaku is still inside that mech. final Gaku mentions how one of the robots seemed to be genuinely worried about her when they were rescuing her from the serial killer. that one is God-Gaku.

Ah, that's a good catch. I overlooked the fact it was the same one. That's kinda interesting.

it depends on the Gaku that she contacts. she doesnt get the knowledge of every Gaku, but only of the one she is talking to and any knowledge that Gaku may have gained. she could be calling someone for the first time, it could be their tenth time talking to someone. obviously, the further that a Gaku gets into her quest, the more knowledge she passes, but theres also the risk of super-knowledgeable Gakus dying (taking their info with them). basically, you gotta remember that all the Gakus talk to each other one at a time and they arent guaranteed to talk with a Gaku that has more knowledge than they do. like they say, they aren't light. they cant take every path at the same time.

Yeah but the one who first called her is strongly implied to be her much later in her quest. (It seems to be implied that her own rash actions later on are what basically spurred her into action in the first place.) So talking to herself from that point in time should have been enough to have given her some knowledge but she learned absolutely nothing at all. So it basically boils down to a Gaku very far along in her quest contacting Gaku before her quest even started. There would be a crap load of information to gain there but if we just make an assumption that relevant information is prioritized she should have at least gotten the basic idea of what otherGaku was talking about.

Well that was certainly a really interesting series. Reminded me quite a lot of both Madoka and Steins;Gate. (Also there was a third thing there that it reminded me of but I forgot what it was about half way through the story and haven't been able to remember it since, lol.) I do wish it elaborated a bit more on Yukari though since it seems to be implied that even in this final timeline she's actually aware of what Gaku did for her. And the bit about Gaku becoming unobservable yet Yukari still being able to sense her is something that felt like it should be elaborated on some.

Also I might be overlooking something but it does seem like there's a fairly obvious plothole with the phone: If Gaku talking to herself is merely symbolic and she actually gets the memories and knowledge and such from her alternate selves as soon as they start talking then surely that call should have given her a ton of knowledge about the situation?

You do realize that people who translate mangas do so in their own free time and often at their own expense as well, right? Just be patient.

Why do you think you're a fan of something just because you say you are? it's not "rigid thinking". It's factual thinking. You don't like the series for it is, you like what you get out of it. Which are two totally different things.

Are you an alt of that one guy who occasionally pops up to spam the site with his inane rambling about how non-canon pairings are the worst thing ever? Cause if you're not then you're doing a great job of emulating him. Liking non-canon pairings doesn't make you less of a fan of a series than someone who prefers canon pairings. It just means you enjoy it a different way than they do.

I was afraid the gore would be realistic, but I'm glad I managed to read it until the end. Wow, I didn't expect the gore to be that...much. Franken Fran feels lighter than this, but that's just me.

Uziga Waita is one of the most well known guro mangakas so it being gorier than Franken Fran isn't all that surprising. Also Franken Fran, while very gory in general, is more a morbid comedy than anything anyways.

Oh it was me too. It was a BITCH. But completely done.

The volume 1 extras were the only chapter I've cleaned since joining Kawaii that I didn't enjoy at all, lol. That series is one of the most tedious things ever. (Though the two page spread I recently did for Miss Sunflower was pretty challenging too. That one I enjoyed however.)

I don't really remember Hitomi, but Tamamin and Akko are more the type of girls to pull ppl along (genki and shit), but as for Hana and Hina, none of them are exceptionally energetic/really do that, there's this awkwardness between them and I think it's pretty cute.

Hitomi was shier and less energetic than Tamamin and Akko but not nearly as much as Hina. Though she was, nonetheless, popular herself.

Edit: All this talk about Nana and Hitomi really makes me want to go reread that now. I'll have to do that some time soon, lol.

(Incidentally I think Hina is actually a rare-ish departure, quite different from any Morinaga Milk character I've seen before. Some people have said she's like Hitomi or Akko only taller, but IMO compared to them aside from the height she has a different face, different body style, different expressions, and different personality; the only thing that's the same is that she's the blond one.)

I think Hina's actually a bit more similar in personality to Tamamin than Hitomi or Akko. Also despite looking generally like Akko she kinda seems like Sugi-san with her whole modelling deal and everyone going gaga over how beautiful she is.

Hmm... Not that I'm aware of. I went through my settings and tried whitelisting dynasty-scans.com/* but it didn't seem to make a difference. I also tried enabling native script import, but didn't give it a browser profile path, but if I understand what it is, I shouldn't need to do a native import right? I tried disabling all of my extensions and running it, but it still didn't come up. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the script, and I've tried clearing my cache and cookies and restarting the browser...

Well, I didn't mean to bother you, so if nothing stands out to you don't worry about it too hard. I was mostly just wondering if I was missing something stupidly obvious, or if there was an easy way to troubleshoot it. Thanks for your help so far. I'll probably keep tampering with it for the next few days and see if I can't get something to work.

Shouldn't need to do a native import or anything. On my installation of Chrome I've got TamperMonkey set to its default settings and I installed the script from the link in the OP. If it still doesn't work after all that I'm honestly not certain what the issue is. Best I could really suggest is waiting on the next version (which should be a huge improvement in general) if you can't get it to cooperate but I've been procrastinating on that really badly for the last several months so that's probably not happening before the end of the year at the earliest.

yeah, i'll typeset it if no one comes forward by the end of the month. just tell me the fonts so i can be ready by then. did you make a credits page yet or do you want me to do it?

I can provide the necessary fonts. I had to go hunt them down myself when I realized I'd have to try typesetting it so I've already got them zipped up and can upload those for you when I get the cleaned raws to you. As for the credits page I've got a psd template made up that's more or less the same as the one from the previous chapter. It just needs the text edited for each chapter is all.

Are you sure there's not something in your TamperMonkey settings or another addon on Chrome that might be blocking it? I just opened up Chrome and it worked fine for me. I'm also on windows 10 and Chrome's version 54.0.2840.99 m.

looks like it needs a typesetter so if you want to volunteer for that, you can ask in the thread. no japanese required and the chapter appears to be cleaned already so you dont need to worry about doing any heavy duty image editing. itll basically be copy-pasting text off a script into their appropriate areas on the page. very simple.

Cleaned and partially typeset actually. Though the typesetting that I did before losing motivation on that part is probably really subpar. There's also one other chapter someone else cleaned (the extra that comes immediately after the next chapter iirc) which is cleaned but completely un-typeset.

If someone would pick up the typesetting I'm still up for cleaning it. Only reason it ground to a halt to begin with is the person who agreed to typeset when I took the job of cleaning completely flaked out on us despite being the person to volunteer for typesetting in the first place.

I get what people are saying about this one feeling a lot less fleshed out than something like Girl Friends. I don't think it's a totally vapid series though. If you look at some of her other series like The Secret Recipe or Secret of the Princess they're still not nearly as fleshed out as Girl Friends. The other characters in those only serve specific plot purposes. Definitely nothing special, in my opinion, and most certainly not my favorite series by her but I've still enjoyed every chapter so far and look forward to the next volume.

Under Vocaloid I tend to drift more towards the Utaite or cover songs sub-fandom, it's interesting how many different versions of a particular song you can get depending on the person/group covering.

Vocaloid's metal scene is quite interesting in my opinion. Producers like UtsuP and Yuyuoyuppe should really be more well known than they actually are. (Which currently is popular within that genre but fairly unknown outside it.)

One thing is to say: "I don't like this manga and this author anymore". No one cares, but okay.

But when you call a beloved artist in a community "perverted rape hentai artisit", then you're asking for it.

Really doesn't help when the reasons given are quite ambiguous. Especially when one mangaka is excused for the completely arbitrary fact that he's a guy who, as far as I'm aware, still writes the hentai that he's infamous for to begin with which is not the case with Morinaga Milk.

Tbh I never turn off my Adblock for any site, consider they either clutter the site or contain pop-up ads; besides, I rarely ever visit any site that has ads as it's primary income.

Can't disagree with the clutter bit but Project Wonderful in particular is pretty good about it. They have strict guidelines on their ads. no sounds, no obnoxious animations, and the only scripts that can run are the ones Project Wonderful themselves include to track clicks so there's no worries about pop-ups or malware unless it's something from clicking the ad and getting redirected to the ad's site. though they make better efforts than Google does at keeping their ads free of that sort of thing and I haven't personally actually heard of such an occurrence happening. (This isn't me trying to convince you to change your habits either to be clear, just pointing out that not all ad services are guilty of that is all.)
