I uphold the notion that Kase-san has been analyzed more than the Zapruder film.

There is definitely a bit too much reading into things going on here. I highly doubt Kase-sans behavior is supposed to be "possessive".

death of the author

Is the most bullshit concept ever to exist in literary analysis, created by egomaniacal critics who are determined to prove that THEY'RE just as important, if not more so, than any author. As far as I'm concerned, they can stuff those analyses right back up the orifice they excreted them out of.

Found the literary major! :D

...You're not wrong.

Anyone who REALLY thinks Yamada was in control in this situation and that Kase came in and ruined her night for her, I have to ask what series you've been reading. Yes, Yamada's been working to improve herself, but it's plain that neither she nor her friend were prepared for being at this event with a bunch of pushy guys, who would only get more so as they got drunk. You can argue all you want about how Kase should have trusted Yamada to handle herself, but as far as I'm concerned, leaving someone you care about (whether friend or girlfriend or whatever else) in a situation that you KNOW they can't handle, and which could easily turn genuinely dangerous, is frankly criminal.

According to folks who know, durian actually does not taste bad. Some people even say it's quite good. It just smells awful.

Um... that's Hana, not Emiru. Emiru x Ruru tag is incorrect.

EDIT: fixed now. All good.

As soon as I saw the gym clothes out of place in the bag, I knew what her friend had been up to. Geeze, girls, just have a wild lesbian orgy already.

Is there anyway to get admin attention to fix a misspelled tag? Screwing up someone's name is kind of a big deal in that sort of thing.

Wait why!? Why is this ship a thing now? Not that I don't like it, but seriously! Is there ANY evidence to when those two were together?

Eiko, make certain you are never alone with that girl.

4) Nishimura is a crossdressing male (see ch24). He hasn't really gotten enough focus thus far to determine what his deal is (ie. sexuality/gender identity/etc.) but he seems to be an LGBT ally if Enami's comfortable getting drunk around him.

I just read through chapter 24 again, and there was nothing in there that made me conclude ANYTHING like this. At all.

You missed it, like I did too till it was pointed out - it has not been raised in the story

https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/slow_start_ch24#11

After the name, in brackets - the male symbol can't mean anything else. (Hajime is also a common male name)

(pulls out magnifying glass) ...I suppose that indecipherable squiggle could be a male symbol...

@juanelric But there hasn't been an update to Oomuro-ke for nearly a year.

I'm still a little bit annoyed that Kasumi NEVER shows any affection for Sakurako even after all this time.

And I still have to wonder what people like you have been reading to say stuff like this. Has everyone forgotten this chapter: https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/a_room_for_two_ch29 ? That's not the only example either, although it's probably the most concentrated one. Kasumi displays her affection in a very low-key laid back kind of way, because she's a low-key laid back kind of girl. But she still DOES display it.

Whatever happened to the Oomuro-ke spinoff for this series?

I second the motion.

It's weird how under used the yuri crush tag is when in a lot of these types of stories that get a subtext label it would actually be a lot more appropriate.

Often the crush tag gets skipped over completely such as with "Room for Two" which explicitly has one of the MCs crushing on her roommate from the very start in chapter 1. That manga doesn't really have subtext at all, but rather one very thirsty lesbian wanting to get together with her incredibly chill and laid back roommate, yet it had nothing but a subtext tag for ages.

This was despite the one girl constantly making comments about how beautiful her roommate is, exclaiming they should get married, sleeping together, drunkenly mauling and kissing her etc. and then when the tag finally did get changed it went strait to the yuri tag even though the relationship could still debatably be considered one sided as far as romance goes. So why was it never at any point given the yuri crush tag which to this day still makes for a better descriptor of the what the story is about?

I would argue that, in that case, Kasumi has shown both acceptance and reciprocation of Sakurako's feelings, in her own laid back way. No, she's nowhere near as blatant and straightforward about it as Sakurako, but that's because that's not her personality. Yeah, she's low-key about it, but that's because she's low-key about everything. It doesn't mean she doesn't care.

Oho. Eiko can dish it out, but when it's coming from sensei she can't take it. Seeing these two interact is wonderful.

@Serenata: doubtful. I've seen this before.

In other news, I need a million more chapters of this. Forget this "ending at the end of this volume" stuff.

Still not a fan of the haircut, but since it seems to have gotten Kasumi to act more affentionate I guess I'll have to support it. :/

Since when girls in Sakura Trick learned what romance even is, to have intimate one?

The latest chapters are pretty romantic to say the least

I haven't been keeping up with it, but in the last chapter I read Haruka was still thinking of her and Yuu as "friends that kiss," and was too airheaded to progress any further than that.

Gayest couple of the season, right here.

I mean that in a good way.

These two are giving me mixed signals are they fucking or not?

Haven't you read the series? They want to but the cat keeps interfering. Also, Rena isn't sure if Yuna really likes her or is just playing along out of obligation or gratitude or something.

Apparently my sarcastic comment wasn't seen as obviously as a joke as I thought it was.

Now that you say that I can parse it as a joke, but until you said that I didn't get it.

Revealing my ignorance of food here... but how long does ham stay good for? That's the ham their father sent them back in chapter 1, isn't it? I mean... sure, almost anything can last forever if you freeze it, but wouldn't that eventually affect the quality?
