^Yup. I think the author got fed up of not being able to go anywhere with their other series- after all, 'unrequited' is in its name! So he made this series to relieve their frustrations and do the stuff he wants to in that story lol?

I think its kinda FAR less like that then you think- because we all have a pretty low general awareness of what we look like. These twins would be seeing each other far more than themselves- the awareness of who we are isnt hugely tied to what we see in a mirror imo.

In fact it might be the case that when they look in a mirror they think- I look like my twin! rather than seeing the twin and thinking it looks like themselves.

But it seems kinda disjointed- I know it has some jumping about in time but also, is it random unrelated skits with the same characters or are they all meant to be in the same universe?

That tail- the specifc type- looks super disturbing to me! Im ok with a cute bunny tail or dog/cat tail- but THAT is like something from a nightmare for me for some reason lol.

That aside, its a very hot pic- and super well done, as all this artists works are.

I'm getting a bit tired of the "I can make you gay", I feel it kinda invalidates everything.

I'm pretty sure that's not what is going on here. Miss Popular blurting odd and somewhat homophobic remarks out of nowhere such as, "I don't see how two girls could ever date, etc." just hit the Blonde Beauty's gaydar like a 10 megaton bomb and she's both into the chick and wants to call her out on her bluff.

Thats how I see it- this isnt a 'convert the straight girl' thing imo- its that she knows the other girl is into girls- and is in denial / doesn't realise, and being damn annoying/rude in doing so.

And since she fancies her anyway, is gonna show her she is wrong.

At least thats my take from just this chapter- I've not read the LN - so it remains to be seen how it goes.

^Thats the most sensible and obvious way to see it that works for both forms. And why not? loads of the other youkai can change their forms too, like with the tanuki and foxes.

@PureShipper There are some cannon series where the tengu all DO have wings too.. And they do in the vast majority of doujins and fan arts- I presume because people just think the tengu look better and make more sense with wings..
I got so used to seeing every representation of her having wings I forget thats not her orgional canon design.

I will still argue they SHOULD be drawn with wings tho- but simply because it looks a lot better! and nearly everyone draws them that way. Also that tengu DO have wings in Japanese mythology.

But I cant really hold it against the artist to draw them like their origional canon either.

^Yup - she still gets a bit wierded out when Mya ne accidently says or does some stuff- but it was clear she enjoyed their walk together regardless, and that she likes her. Mya nee needs to just smarten up a bit and Hana needs to mature a bit more.

@juanelric I think she accidently said that out loud without even knowing- not responding to Hana- so she wasn't being bold.

But it did seem some progress was made here- at least a little :)

@Quisty presumably because some groups automatically stop working on something if it gets licenced- others only stop if the publisher asks them to. Same with dynasty- stuff will be left up here after licenced, but if they are asked to take it down, ofcourse they will do.

That very much reminded me of the differences between Shimamura's two Nagano trips. You can just see Kurokawa realize whom she really wants at her side there. And seeing how she spent the entire time worrying that he would misunderstand why she picked these clothes, there's no chance she'd say yes.

It seems that way, but doesn't mean she wont do something dumb. This reminds me of that dude Mari breifly dated in girlfriends because she was trying to replace her feelings for Akko. People can do dumb shit even when they know better.

But I do hope not- it would just drag it it out pointlessly - and I hope this is the push they both need.
