Come to think about it, the very fact that Nagisa was popular enough to get a spot in the main cast in the movie is rather insteresting, considering we didn't even know how she really looked prior to that.

I was about to trow my monitor through the window from sheer frustration at this Morinaga-esque confusion development, but thankfully Reimu was there to fix things up. Good Job to her, and thank you to the translation team.

This premise is so stupid that the manga might end up being great XD But I wonder why was it necessary for the story that the main character is actually replacing someone else, why couldn't she be the person selected in one go? Hope we find out soon.

By the way, why is Japan so obsessed with tournaments? Even something like this, which could be great with the make-believe alone, has a competition awkwardly added in it's premise. Is this a cultural thing of theirs or something?

Well... I understand that the rich girl/guy x maid/butler has been done to death by Japan lately, but maybe we should give it a little more time for the story to go forward before bashing it this much? I feel like this forums got pretty prone to raging since Lemonade (I admit that one got on my nerves, too).

By the way, to the people wondering about the "bee" part, I wonder why the translators decided to use Bee instead of Drone, which they used during the entire series at that point. That said, the translation effort is highly appreciated.

I had to take a minute before reading this because I was laughing hard at the warning note.

Well there were some cool moments, but the ending... I'd guess I've become greedy, not being satisfied simply by seeing the princess safe, but wanting also for her to be with Ensing at the end. It's a little sad that in spite of everything, they are still separated.

Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (thank God the princess is tough), but I still regret reading this before chapter 3 was out as well..

The first chapter was a little hard to read with all the girls this, boys that thing. It's like the author tried very hard to establish ground for the issue of transexuality with really unnatural conversations. The author even goes out of his way to demonstrate de difference between boys and girls by having Sakura expose a little too much skin every now and then... oh wait, that's just fanservice.
Ouzumi... so far he's more an idiot than a villain. The guy tried to score some points with the girl he liked by trying to make what he consider his rival in love look bad, but it ended up backfiring on him quite hard. I don't think he will end up like that retard from Lemonade... or I could be wrong, and he's the token male character whose there to make a rape attempt at some point to stir the drama and the angs in the series. Hopefully his hormones will not get the best of him again.

That tragedy inviting warning has me a little worried, but the story seems interesting. I hope I don't end up regretting it later...

I know it's supposed to be a comedy, but Yurika's change of attitude since she moved into the dorms kind of ruined the fun for me. She's no longer a likeable character now that she is openly taking advantage of her seduction instead of being the straight girl going "WTF?" at the other student's wild yuri theories.. All the latest chapters seem like a repetition of the last one, with a different girl unable to resist her charm and Yurika becoming more and more indolent. It feels like when I watched the Ranma 1/2 anime: Nothing goes anywhere, just a random objective each time and a the most annoying cast of scumbags ever assembled (except maybe Kasumi).

Although it would be nice for her to eventually end up with Saori, I actually would prefer if Yurika stayed heterosexual.

maybe my Yuri goggles are on too tight, but Yurika is definitely not heterosexual, but she may be bisexual. plus, nowhere in the earlier chapters was it established that Yurika was heterosexual.

You might want to loose the straps a little bit. Yurika didn't want to be gigolette, she wanted to marry some guy and live as a wife, but she doesn't seem to have the charm to attract guys for some reason. One of the earliest chapters has her go into a mixer in order to try and marry a student in a college of medicine (the lesbian sex happening right after was mostly out of yurika's frustration over being unable to catch any man, plus the invitation from the "straigtht girl" who was with her).
Yurika's character is in some kind of Limbo after being admitted into the dorms. First there was no doubt she was heterosexual, now I'm not sure. She's far more calm than she was before and has learned how to actively use her charm, but that's just that she no longer hates it as much as she did in the first chapters; she doesn't love doing it either, and its obvious that women for her are mere resources. Certainly she could be bisexual, but Japanese artists have not gave me much examples of them thinking of bisexuality as a possible third option.

I really can't see Yurika ending up with a girl because not once has she shown any actual attraction to one. I mean if they can eventually show her having feelings for another girl (possibly Saori), then that's cool,

actually, I think Yurika has shown that her feelings for Saori are genuine. afterall, why go to all the trouble of protecting Saori? sure Yurika wants to preserve her living arrangement, but in each chapter, Yurika's most objectionable behaviours change when it affects Saori.

Yurika will have to try very hard to make me think she wasn't just protecting her roof. Saori is the reason she is not sleeping in the streets, and she was about to be snatched away at the same moment the other girls were rejecting Yurika, thinking she stole other people's girlfriends (thus no secondary home to stay into). I think the only reason she likes Saori is because she thinks she's not into yuri, which lets Yurika have a place to stay which she doesn't need to keep through sexual favors and at the same time would not have an impact if she talks to 100 women per day on the phone (of course this is the very source of Saori's frustration, but Yurika doesn't know this).

If Yurika is not afraid of being in a serious relationship like she says Akane is, that could either meant that she wants a serious relationship, or that she doesn't give a damn about the people she has slept with. And, unlike Akane, Yurika has never said she liked girls (outside of those shallow talks over the phone)

One question: Why is this uploaded as a manga and not as 3 separate pictures? I have seen several times that some "manga" pages, translated and all, were uploaded to the site as images instead.

Not a critic or anything, I'm genuinely curious.

So chapter 23 is actually an extra... no wonder it felt so strangely out of place compared with the tone set on the rest of the manga.

Wow! The characters in this manga keep sexually assaulting each other like there is no tomorrow.

I have not yet read/seen Mai Hime either, but for what I have read from related media, the manga is Yuri-free (at least the first one) and Shizuru is barely a secondary character there. So if anything, I'd aim for the anime.
