I feel like the most cynical person in the world asking this, but are we 100% sure that, given past history, there's absolutely no way these two can be misunderstanding each other, so that "more than a friend" in the next chapter won't become, "Super Gal-Pal Friendly Friends 4Evah"?

I want to believe that they both understand "more than a friend" as "we shall henceforth be exchanging bodily fluids motivated by mutual sexual desire," but past experience of this series makes me wary about jumping to conclusions.

Yes, I think that too. This manga has terrible writing, I'm just here for the fun, the characters are actually cute. But I don't get hopes up for them because I don't trust the author. Good thing if we see a kiss in the next chapters.

This is amazing, I've never seen something like this before. I just love how funny and cute the little brother takes care of his older sister, when normally it's the opposite. And a yuri manga having a male protagonist that happens to be a child is really creative and original.
I imagine their romance growing and he'll be like: They're really good friends.
