What country are you from? At least in America, the average soldier in WW2 skewed older than other wars (which was at least partially due to many WW1 vets reenlisting). Also, the enemy soldier seems to be wearing a US Army uniform, though the sketchy artstyle makes it difficult to be certain.

Yes, but the key issue here is that she doesn't seem to want to. She gives every indication of being perfectly satisfied with the current state of affairs, especially with that sinister aside about "silencing" anyone who discovers the truth. That doesn't sound like someone who cares about saving the world to me.

Alternate History tag, perhaps? 1937 doesn't line up with the mention of air raids (the Nationalist air force lacked the pilots and materiel to operate effectively beyond their borders). Also, Japan/pseudo-Japan seems to already be on the ropes by the time the story begins, what with the schoolgirl suicide units and all.

Cute girls are good, but a bit of plot or background information about the mc-chan's couldn't hurt, 'cause as for now, we know absolutely nothing about the girls or the city or anything else ;_; Hope it will change in the upcoming chapters.

Read this series' tags. This is a slice-of-life work, so there probably isn't gonna be much in the way of exposition. The aim here isn't to tell a traditional story, but to create a mood or a sense of place as the characters go about their daily lives. If you keep that in mind, you won't mind the relative lack of traditional storytelling.

The art looks like knockoff Morinaga Milk.

Hm. Can't say I enjoyed this one. Asagi's a good artist, and he can tell a decent story if he tries (I really liked 'I Fell in Love for the First Time'), but he seems to be focusing more and more solely on his fetishes, none of which I find all that appealing. (And the in-your-face crotch shots are a bit much.)
