No one fucks with Kobayashi. NO ONE!

This was the kind of quick development of the author of Ojojojo (at least the first volume of it).

I have the feeling this lacks a flying turtle.

14 pages in, and I got the same feeling.

Seems it's only missing a Kaolla Su to have the entire cast.

Seems like D for Dragon has been appearing a lot, lately. Not that I'm complaining, though.

On another note, would you think that this is going to keep as a gag manga, or actually develop the characters some more? We'd need a Kobayashi centered chater to get things going a little forward from the classic cultural shock chapters.

Well, she's no longer in the straight path, that much I can see.

Thanks for the translation. The series seems promising, but I just hope it doesn't end with artificial drama like Octave.

Good to know this manga is still kinda creepy.

People simply simpatize with Takeda because he's a nice guy getting the short end of the stick in this manga (probably second shortest now that it seems Hotaru is having a really bad time). Other yuri manga generally avoid this by making the guy either too full of themselves (looking at you, Lemonade), too chauvinist, or having them try to rape the heroine; so if she escapes with another girl, it's taken as a perfectly justified reason by the audience. People are generally more willing to root for the underdog.

I still think this will change after the chapter explaining how the couples were formed.

Heh, Hotaru is really a grade A emotional manipulator. And I'm afraid Yuma has no chance against her, if no one helps her. So I guess she will end up in an abusive relationship with Hotaru?
Fujiwara might be able to disrupt Hotarus plans a bit if he cared enough because it seems like she can't manipulate him exactly the way she wants, but he's not a nice person, so i doubt he will involve himself more then necessary. And so far he has played into her hands.
Takeda should just save himself and get away from them. Would be better for him. He's a decent person, but I doubt he can help Yuma because he is no match for Hotaru.

Not quite my kind of story but it's kinda fresh (at least for me) and this descent into darkness is interessting enough to watch^^.

Frankly, I do not believe that Hotaru's manipulation would work on anyone except Yuma, and that is because Yuma lets herself be manipulated as a convenient excuse. I mean, Takeda merely pushed Yuma down, and she is already comparing how forceful he is compared to Hotaru. Just like what Hotaru said a chapter before, she barely has any strenght to force Yuma, but only succeeds because Yuma puts zero resistance. If anything, it looks like Fujiwara is the one manipulating Hotaru.

Cruel with Takeda, but their relationship should formally end now, while they were still can do it in good terms. As it was said in the first chapter, their relationship went on super slow, which was a result of Yuma not wanting it to progress at all. Their relationship was going to fall apart sooner or later due to that, or progress out of Yuma mustering willpower to do something she did not really want to do. Rejection sucks, but he will at least be free to find some other person who actually likes him back.

Hopefully there will be a chapter explaining how the pairings FujiwaraXHotaru and YumaxTakeda were formed, which would explain how all the "cheating" thing came to be. The way Yuna comments on it, it seems similar to the story "First Kiss", where Reiko's sole reason to get a boyfriend was because Ayano got herself one. In this case Hotaru was the first to get a boyfriend and Yuma followed, but we all know there is no way that could happened naturally.

Quite a lot of hate for Hotaru. I haven't seen any futher than the first chapter, and I do get that she's "seducing" (?) the other guy's girlfriend, but I can't really hate her. So far it feels like someone who's seeing the one she loves being taken away by some other guy as an inevitable end. She has no way of knowing if her tease has an actual effect on Yuna other than making her feel embarased, as far as she knows Yuna's straight (I mean, she got herself a boyfriend and all), and is desperately looking towards making a lasting impression on Yuna that she'll remember once she leaves Hotaru behind. She pretty much has nothing else to lose.

Well, at least that's my first impression, which could be totally wrong depending on the chapters ahead.

I'm disappointed that Moe got what she wanted in the end xD she just went mad, hurt people, had her way with everyone just to get Ran and she succeed x)
But i do like how she look when she's older :3

Moe didn't actually hurt anyone, even in dark mode. In fact, she kind of improved the relationship of some of them. She probably looked more evil than she actually was because she was unhappy for half of the series. She could barely whistand the emptiness she felt due to Ran not loving her back.

Kind of creepy, and I can't avoid being afraid of the situation. Just thinking about the posibility of finding a roach when minimized like that is enough to send chills down my spine.

Koa has always been one of my favourites. It's funny how a character without even a in-game portrait can even make someone like Asatsuki Dou turn this into this.

After all the development we had in the last few chapters, I'm a little disappointed in this chapter. A the very least Miss Sunflower could start already getting the idea. (That said, the translation is much appreciated).

So, page 10, bottom right panel. Where exactly is Madoka's hand?

I think we all know where that hand is.

"If you lose focus, you die!"

Mahong seems to be an extremely dangerous table game.
It reminds me of that Yu-gi-oh parody where the word "Duel" was replaced with "Childrens card game"
