Just watched Omoide no Marnie, and wow, it's been a shit-ton of time since I was ever so disappointed by a film. When I first heard about it, I was wondering why it didn't get any buzz, because for all intents and purposes, it looked like Studio Goddamn Ghibli had made a yuri film, which should've put it at the top of every recommendation list. After that terrible ending, though... yeah. I need to, like, gargle my soul or something.

I've only heard about that one, not actually seen it. I had absolutely no desire to watch it once I found out what it was all about. This only confirms that.

It's got Moe up the butt now, but damn, I'm not sure if even that would have prepared me for the physical onslaught of cute that this page was.

This talk of Kant actually reminds me of the philosophy course I took in college. The professor was this guy in his mid-40s with a few screws loose, and he would over-emphasize seemingly-random words when talking. The one the class noticed the most was when he would almost yell "KANT!" when talking about him. I'm pretty sure he drank a few dozen cups of coffee a day, so that might have contributed. Whatever the reason for his eccentricity, it was hilarious.

Well, that was....yeah. I still don't understand what actually happened and what was just wishful thinking, but it seems stuff that happened only in her mind had the dark streaked border like on this page. The only other part I see happening in her mind is here where it finally snaps.
