I followed 0% of that it was incomprehensible.

"Let's stay together forever..."

Stop it with the death flags.

Seriously, I will be deeply unimpressed if they lean into that cliche I saw it coming from chapter 1 and I really hope they surprise me instead.

My suspension of disbelief can't survive this ridiculous degree of obliviousness. I'm out.

Not really sure what to think. There are some stories with robots that I liked, mostly because the robot itself experienced love in a particular way, when it was not expected nor intended for that to happen. It feels more "human" when it's the result of an event outside it's programming, as it'd be the development of actual feelings. But the robot specifically programmed to love, always seems as kind of creepy. Even though she's not it's owner, instead of seeing a romantic development, I see a machine fulfilling it's program, void of emotions...

I mean romantic/sexual attraction is basically just organic programming anyway. Animals are basically just poorly optimized self-propagating robots made out of meat.

Poorly optimized? Yeah, 'cause we see all these robots capable of surviving highly variable environments, finding their own fuel, doing their own maintenance, and reproducing. Animals are very well optimized, life is just very difficult.

We're also prone to an endless array of software and hardware malfunctions oftentimes irreparably so and even perfect maintenance isn't a guarantee against many of them. Replacing parts is incredibly difficult and unreliable even with the best compatibility possible. Our programming is largely fixed even when it has become disastrously obsolete. Sometimes the software isn't even compatible with the hardware.

I hope this doesn't go the "Poly person is proved wrong and magically becomes monogamous upon meeting the 'right' person" route because that's just insulting.

I know this is supposed to be light hearted funny stuff here but...wouldn't it be easy for Airi to just say "let me think about it" and then tell her twin about the confession so the actual person can give their own answer?????

But then you can't have wacky sitcom shenanigans revolving around dumb misunderstandings.

This artist is not capable of drawing characters that aren't fat fucks.

Your sense of aesthetics is terrible and you should feel bad.

Why is yuzumori the adult here?

There is no adult here. They are both children and they are both acting like children.

Why would we go back to that side couple? :þ

More seriously, the series' description on Dynasty needs to be revised. It's clear by now that there is no such thing as a "main couple" in this series. Canno just does whatever she wants.

That's also why AnoKiss probably wouldn't work in anime − or if it has one, it should be either separate OVAs (one per couple) or out-of-order episodes like Haruhi.

They're basically the main side-couple at this point. Overall more present than any other pairing but not really the dominant focus of the series.

So, Gay for pay?

Is it still Gay for pay if their gayness is irrespective of their being payed? I always thought it was a tag for (at least ostensibly) straight women.

Also I don't quite understand what's so special about this kid. She's selfish and not really smart, she's childish as fuck, she's not even that beautiful. There's nothing amazing about her, just some regular girl who wants to be an adult as soon as possible, but there are millions of them. Yet WeiWei is shown like an extraordinary person, both in her looks and her characteristics. What's the point of this romance, I wonder.

There may well not be anything special about the kid, but Wei Wei likes her and that's all there is to it. All that is required for a romance is that both parties like each other, regardless of whether either person is as talented or beautiful as the other.

Some people have this bizarre idea that two people have to be "worthy" of each other to be in a relationship, as if just being an average person somehow makes you a lesser form of humanity undeserving of love from your "betters."

This shit is my jam. It's all weird as fuck but it almost always has something resembling a happy ending even if it's not really happy by normal standards.

Kai that's still a pretty unreasonable bar to set no matter how well meant it was. Like usually even the most prolific of social butterflies aren't friends with their entire class.

Rokuroichi is one of my absolute favourites both in terms of writing and art style. Like their stuff is generally fairly patterned but it's a good pattern with a lot of feeling in it.

Yeah this didn't really grab me the way this author's other stories did. It wasn't really any weirder than them it's just so much more convoluted that I'm left not even entirely sure what I just read.

A tomboy is the kind of kid who runs around, climbs trees, gets dirty and covered with leaves, rides bicycles no hands and stuff. So in that sense even if Nadeshiko has masculine qualities, she's not "tomboyish".

Tsukasa is a tomboy and Nadeshiko is a prince xD

I really need more series with reverse GB I say reverse as in the "reverse" harem there are too few series (worth watching/reading) with a tomboy/prince-like girl :c and too many brainless/hentai/ecchi series with guys turning into hot oppai girls that the first thing they do is touch themselves xD

Well . . . let's face it. For most teenage boys, if they turned into a girl what's the first thing they'd do?

Be consumed by visceral horror and discomfort at finding themselves in a completely alien body that is totally divorced from their self image? You know, what trans people generally do.

Not enough vampirism in yuri. I want there to be so much, that people grow tired of it.

Like there is in het.
