There's a reason I found it odd that some people only thought it started getting dark later on after it started going into how fragile monster lives are.

Aki was on the verge of a total breakdown right in chapter 1.

Now that you mention it, this series is surprisingly dark if you look past the comedy. Really reminds me of another series with the same deal mainly Konosuba where Aqua actually gets clearly traumatized after being used as a bait and the series just plays it off as funny. Atleast Goblin-Chan tried her best to help Aki mentally back then, otherwise it would’ve been really depressing. Edit: I somehow missed the discussions on the earlier pages of this manga, where people shared the same opinion sorry^^

After rereading Chapter 1 I feel really bad for Aki, getting torn apart from your actual world, your family and friends. I feel it’s kinda incredible that characters adapt so quickly to their new world and handle it mentally in these scenarios . If I were thrown in,in another world I would definetly just break down and go insane if not even kill myself, depending in which world I would end up.

As long as it’s a decent amount and not overbearing. I mean Uta-Chans situation already is really depressing and now the situation with misstrust in Kaorus case can put some into despair. If this scenario was real life Kaoru would’ve died after falling so many steps...

So Kaoru who had the beg Reiichi for years to go out with her, is seeing him with his ex girlfriend from High School(? No idea which grade that was)Risako on a “business trip”. It’s astonishing for me that Kaoru and Risako are even friends with no bad blood between them.(Apparently). Something tells me Reiichi went out with Kaoru only to make Risako jealous, but why did they marry then? Maybe I’m just overthinking it and it’s a scenario like in Hoshikawa and it’s just a misunderstanding. Thank god I read the Woman next door beforehand from sensei takemiya so the fluffyness overshadows the angst of this >:D Moreover Chaosteam earns my respect for still scanlating their series, I couldn’t handle so much angst bs after such a long time

I am not sure, but maybe they mean Hope in the sequels? He grows up into a rather badass guy, though not exactly into a stoic ass-kicker like Auron.

To be fair I only played FF13-1 and none of the continuations, but still I found Hope just unbearable. For example I didn’t like Apollo in the Ace Attorney series at all but grew to like him over the time, especially after recently playing Spirit of Justice but I have 0 interest in seeing Hope progressing of some sort, mainly since the cast didn’t motivate the play further along or even continue with the series .—. Just my opinion though, I don’t want to piss off anyone whose favorite character is Hope if there even is someone :P

I think I played through to story until I encountered the esper of hope and just gave up tbh. I only played one previous title in the final fantasy series which was X so I kinda was disappointed when I was forced to walk trough one corridor after another instead of walking trough an open world. And if there was an escape tunnel all along, then no-one needed to die. In fact, the presence of the escape tunnel means that no-one supervizes this game at all, the Goverment get a bunch of kids to kill each other and then clean it up afterwards, but they don't watch the actual killing take place, which just raises more questions about why they do it in the first place as all they seem to be doing is creating more un-needed work and expense for themselves.

                                                                                                                                            Either Karen and her dog are just both fcked up in the head and somehow enjoy    killing, or the Government actually wants to find dead bodies and only 2 living which doesn't make any sense if you take in account that nothing happened that 4 survived this clownfiesta. There was just no reason to kill all the others, the only deaths that couldn't be prevented were those who tried to take of the chains. Wtf happened to my text lol

I'm confused about Chapter 25 how Chitaru and Kirigaya both died. I get that Chitaru stabs Kirigaya, but I don't quite understand what happens to Chitaru she just suddenly lies there, would appreciate it if someone could clarify it . Have been lately watching the anime so I'm comparing stuff atm especially regarding kirigaya x chitaru since I love the pairing.I loved the double suicide in the anime, where Kirigaya thrusts her body into the knife and Chitaru drinking the poison but in comparison to the manga it was lacking Yuri especially because Kirigayas confession/kiss was not involved.

At some point they have to do a yuri game, right?

I kinda hate the importance of the meta nowadays to be honest. Too many players get influenced by the pros by trying to copy their Characters and playstyle, instead of having fun and finding their own way to play. But it's always refreshing to see pocketpicks, there are a bunch of people who earned a name even tho they play "trash tier characters". In the end it comes down to skill even when meta or certain matchups heavily favour the other side

Im still wondering if Mei is still a virgin since she had something with Amemiya(the teacher) in the beginning and it was not clear how deep their relationship was (ok it wasn't really a relationship but you get what I mean)
