I never really found the skirts to be that short, yeah they were a little revealing but not to the point where it bothered me.

Second page legitimately starts out with a panty shot.

I'll give you that, the panty shot's were definitely unnecessary here but I'll definitely take this over the garbage harem anime Panty shot's any day. Imo panty shots are bad when it get's to the point where it's shown constantly.

EDIT: Also don't get the wrong Idea, I am not saying that I like panty shot's, they one of the most pointless things to ever come out of an anime. But for some unknown reason Japan has some weird fetish for panty shot's and sadly they probably won't ever stop showing us that crap. So I think the least they could do is tone it down.

The manga puts the girls night clothes over the top sexy with a bunny tail or a maid outfit, which makes the author seem sort of out of touch with women in general.

I didn't notice that they were wearing bunny & maid outfits as nightwear. I think you kind of took it out of context where that was meant to be cute instead of sexual.

Overall, these are things most commonly found in seinen or shonen manga, which are all intended for male readers, in other words, male-targetted.

Whenever I think of Seinen or Shonen manga, I always think of action manga like Berserk, Dragonball, One Punch Man, etc. Yes it's true that trashy fanservicy harem manga/anime can also be classified as Seinen of Shonen, but at the end of the day, when you look up Seinen/Shonen manga the things that come up are basically all of the mainstream action manga full of drama and violence.

This is like...One of the most tame doujins I've read. It's cute for what it is and doesn't really have anything to sexual, Calm down.

Well, the afterword (beforeword? I dunno) itself calls this thing "slightly yuri," so I don't think that it'd be too unreasonable to call it slightly yuri.

It was more of the fact that they made it seem that "Slightly Yuri" was a sub-genre of Yuri the same way as "Shojo Yuri", "Josei Yuri", "Seinen Yuri", "Shonen Yuri", and "Subtext Yuri".

That said, I'd at least give this thing props for at least being more yuri than... I don't know, any cliche SOL thing filled with lame subtext.

I'm now scared to ask what "SOL" is.

But yeah, this was an overall solid doujin. Sure, it may not have much but It still succeeds at what it tries to deliver, really strong subtext.

This might just be the definition of "slightly yuri".

Why is the bland and full-color look so common for male-oriented slightly yuri? Lots of Hypderdimension Neptunia doujins use it, I think. And Kuttsukiboshi...

Maybe for you. For me all it means is that she might got killed. Also I don't get where the cynicism came from, since Muslims killing gays and people who reject Islam is a thing that happens, so I'm just looking at it objectively. She did mention her parents are teachers of religion. But even if not worse case scenario, I still think her not writing anything here yet, means the situation doesn't look good.

If you think things went badly then say "I think things might've went badly", don't just come out and say that she's dead. At least have a little hope.

I wrote, that I'm serious, because I was afraid someone might think I wrote it as a joke. The sole fact that because of some religion, I could wrote something like that in the first place as possible outcome is already plenty disturbing.

Homura Subaru has always been my all-time favorite NSFW artist, and a SFW work from her ( while not as good as her NSFW work ) is still really solid. Speak for yourself, I found the joke and Homura's perviness quite funny. I do admit that her perviness is rather overused, but I personally still find it hilarious (if done right, of course).

On the other hand I always found jokes about Madoka seducing Homura to be the funniest. Because you'd never guess that the most shy & moe person in the show was actually any good in bed. And there's always the classic Mami Head jokes, now those never fail to make me laugh.

Well that was stupid, creepy and flat out unfunny. The two doujins that this artist has made so far just revolve around one joke, that homura is a pervert, and it's not a very funny joke at that.

It looks like this manga took a turn for the better. This and More Then Friends are my top 2 favorite series from her.
