I really like doujins that have HomuSaya snark in them, I think they have a fun relationship that isn't looked into that often

Whenever a doujin plays with the 'im such an idiot' line it will always make me laugh

You know, for me this is only different from "And she stepped out into the street and a truck hit her" in the sense that it allows for the nasty shenanigans being pulled in the following chapter. I have no respect for this development, it's gratuitous.

Somehow although objectively maybe it's not that terrible a move, subjectively for me it just breaks me out of the manga. It's weird, from being fascinated I'm suddenly just not interested any more. It's like, I suddenly shifted from feeling like I was reading about a life, to feeling like I was reading a plot being managed to maintain my angst levels, and I lost the immersion.

I actually stopped reading after this chapter because of reasons similar to this, I really liked the ex-girlfriends character, way more than the two MCs, and after being built up seeing her with nice parents and she was turning her life around, to just chuck that away with an accidental death just left me feeling really hollow. It worked well as a gut punch but then after that the manga just felt empty to me. How can I expect things to go well for everyone when the one character who wasn't a terrible person gets killed off after trying to sort their shit out. To me it felt like this was going to continue as a trend with only more and more of these moments happening.

I did like this originally, it had a load of potential and was a fresh idea, but yeah this manga just hurts me to much to be able to enjoy it

This is a manga that I really enjoy, despite the inevitable heartache I know I'll have (I havent read the spoiler bar text that people have been commenting with, but i have an idea of how it will pan out), mostly cause I can really relate to poor Akari and figuring out her first love and (wishing) that her first love feels the same

Right from the start we know Yuki already has a thing for Rin - the only thing that makes this different from the usual yuri love triangle is that Yuki doesn't ditch him to realise her "true feelings" for Akari, because well, Yuki is straight. This manga isn't a love story but Akari's coming of age story where she realises she likes girls, except shit she fell for a straight one who has only ever seen her as a friend

Yuki has clearly been oblivious to everything because its not like she has any of her own friends so its not like she can see how eager Akari is. I think she only put two and two together after the picturebooth edit and how desperately Akari took photos of her.

I actually think this is a more realistic spin on things, the subtle jabs from "friends" at school is on the money, the jealousy is done well, plus the confusion over whether that straight girl you fell for might actually like you too (bath scene omg poor akari)

I think this series doesn't deserve as much backlash as its getting, a yuri end with these two would be nice but it would be unrealistic after everything we've seen from Yuki so far.

Also Rin's a decent guy, yes, thank god he's written well.

I'M READING THIS AS SOLID AI EVIDENCE, I totally think its these two. Reread all of this literally yesterday and Miho seemed way too obviously flirty and if it was Megumi it just seemed way too sad seeing as Nadeshiko and the mystery girlfriend seem so mushy on the phone, and Nadeshiko just bullies Megumi lolol.

Plus Ai and Nadeshiko have always been pretty subdued compared to the others which would make sense if they are trying to keep it a secret.

I used to be Nadeshiko/Megumi but I'm totally down for Nadeshiko/Ai, especially after this chapter

Can't find an episode 2 or 3 about, but I've seen ep1, 4 and 5 around on youtube! about to watch the latter two now, hopefully they are just as good as the 1st one!
