That's right, keep those interlocked fingers below the window sill. How perverse. Don't show the children outside.

We got lewd hand holding.. Do we think that were going to get an almost kiss at the festival before the system pops up and demands she do something awful to her? I'm going with YEP.

My guess is the festival will end up going well instead of getting too grim. So...

System options: SUFFOCATE ELSA
Other-Elsa option: Make Elsa unable to breathe
Evie: She can't breathe if I seal her lips with mine long enough.

...Or some other thing that in a more roundabout way leads to a kiss

I'm sorry but in my head this automatically meant 'sit on her face' or 'asphyxiation by booba' and didn't even think of kissing..

Porque no los dos?

Really like pages 34 & 35: I didn't get that impression from the ln, and this makes things much clearer.

Honestly, I really like the contrast between fantasy!Elsa and real!Elsa. It’s poignant. Not sure how exactly, but it is.

Fantasy!Elsa comfortably offers all of herself to the person she loves. Real!Elsa holds back on both because Yvonne keeps blocking her. I am not sure whether the real!Elsa is actually as thirsty as the fantasy!one, but I wouldn't put it past her, given what she said at the end of the last chapter...

It’s more than that, when I think about it more: in Yvonne’s fantasies, Elsa is very… meek. Not confident or assertive, despite intentionally making herself “enticing.” The difference between Elsa’s expression on page 2 of this chapter and her real expression on page 7 of the last say it all. I think that it’s a reflection of how Yvonne sees Elsa vs how Elsa is actually like.

Bet the teacher misunderstands her and think Elsa is an M and she's a sadist (I mean that part on Elsa probably isn't wrong and Evie's probably a sadist deep within her heart, so not really wrong)

what if the solution will be, that they do sm stuff and trick the system into thinking that it counts.

The system has no qualms with inciting murder. So… no.

I doubt that they're fully out of the gutters, as a lot of people are suggesting. As Elsa becomes more aggressive, Yvonne will feel more and more conflicted, and come into increasing conflict with the System and Elsa. Eventually, something will break. Just... not now. Not yet.

Oh thank the force. They didn’t completely break up.

Now, this isn't even mentioned. I understand that she misses her, but what happened to her inner conflict?

While true, I think you underestimate the ability of humans to delude yourselves, especially if there’s catharsis involved. Evie had been repeatedly stabbing herself with a proverbial knife until Elsa came and stopped her, and in the moment, that was more important than her fears.

I might be twisted, but I love the fantasy of being cut by my girlfriend, only to be held lovingly afterwards. Reading about a relationship where they overcome the friction generated by Yvonne hurting Evie would be much better than about the god system stopping them from ever Doing Yuri, in my humble and depraved opinion.

All of that being said, I do still enjoy this well enough, even though I don't really like how the system is being used.

Remember how they ended up leaving the original Academy: Yvonne refused to potentially murder Elsa. That’s not something you can be held lovingly after… or at least, you won’t be alive to experience it.

OK, this is obviously a setting where the theme is all-important, so it feels churlish to talk about realism, but at this point I just can't look away from questions like, why are they just sending pairs of young teenage girls into the city to find their own, um, blood donors when vampire hunters are a thing? Even if they're supposed to learn how to do this stuff, shouldn't there be older, experienced, heavily armed vampires on overwatch?

I think you bring up a very good point here, the fact that they just let these teenagers go out into this dangerous world...or didn't have any alarms flagged for precautions when one was seriously injured recently...it's very strange to me. These injuries and this death feel very preventable when thinking about it.

Moreover, we haven't seen anyone say anything that implies a psudeo-darwinist perspective among vampires that would provide a sink-or-swim mentality.

I just supported Fuu before, but now I also outright despise Konomi. That is... literally sexual harassment. There is no universe where that is not the case.

A good portion of Rei's entire... thing is being an unreliable, or at the very least reticent narrator. It's fairly obvious that there's much more that's going on than she lets on, an effect which is exacerbated by the lack of her internal monologue which, while also rather reticent, was at least more consistently present.

TBH, I'm getting some Aro vibes from Yoshioka, or at least demiromantic. Yes, the story says that she likes falling in love, but... well, I think you get the idea.

Also, really glad that Yoshioka made sure to get consent -- that situation could have gotten real creepy, real fast.

Ahhhh Gayika. I do love how blatantly obvious she is, and Fuwa's Gaydar is spot-on.

Asumi-chan powering up to a Super Sand Lesbian sexual goddess.

I don't like sand. It's course, rough, irritating, and it gets everywhere.

Really hope that this is actual Aro representation even though it probably won’t be because clearly the thing that she has to do is be able to fall in love right?

Why, Yukiko, why!? You had something actually legitimate going on and you threw it away!

Wait... I actually think that there's a way this could be salvaged: Mai going to the place Asumi works at. It'd actually work especially well, given Mai's established weakness in contrast to the typical power dynamic Asumi has experienced thus far.

Finally. I've been waiting for those two to actually do stuff together. Fuu and Yukiko are the OTP, no questions asked.
