I remember being absolutely perplexed when reading Azure Waters at how attached Bronya was to Seele to the point that she pulled a “Taken” arc to rescue her when she was kidnapped by creeps which happened around 1-2 months after meeting.

The fact Ryou supposedly dies on a bridge setting like where Okiku and her old lover first met, I’m betting that Meguru and Ryou meet at that place and Ryou’s indecisiveness of her love towards Meguru and Okiku will gather enough malice from Meguru and Okiku being in one location to allow the third ghost to fully manifest.

I believe the real reason Ryou is being targeted by the ghost is because of her past with Meguru. The ghost originally manifested with Meguru but as Meguru found Ryou, it chose to target her after the events of witnessing what happened between the two as she saw it as Ryou leaving Meguru as a selfish act rather than a selfless one to trigger the malice of unpleasant memories of what could’ve happened with Okiku in her past life. So I believe it’s waiting for the moment one of the two, either Meguru or Okiku, feels torn by Ryou’s decision to trigger the vision to occur.

Koruri and Moca is going to be married and have children before Kasumi figures out what she wants her relationship with Sakurako. That being said readers might have families before we see that in rl lol.

It is a bit perplexing that Kasumi has never at one point truly questioned a romantic relationship with Sakurako prior to her being asked considering she has been kissed and has willingly kissed Sakurako.

I’ve seen dry humping in a cowgirl so not that surprising for that position but I think the doggy style with both Aki’s hands nowhere near Momo’s baby making station looks the most suspicious. It’ll probably be clarified if this was surprisingly an omegaverse or futaAki manga if the next chapter is a time skip with babies lol.

Really hoping, if by some chance, this gets picked up as anime. Usually it would be some sort out there request, but with the state of Yuri being consistently picked one by one recently, I have hopes this one will too. It’s relatively popular, plus the bittersweetness of it all will provide a good enough draw for people to take with it. I just truly want another way we can immortalize Kaori, not just in the novel Shizuku is writing, or in this manga, but also her voice in an anime. I feel like even as a fictional character, Kaori is one of those special ones you don’t want to forget.

At this point, we’re gonna pass so much time just to wait for this story to move cohesively that Japan’s own legal system might change its laws on gay marriage faster than this story gets to a place where it can reasonably end lol

It might be a George R. R. Martin moment where we think the author, or us I guess, might die before we see the end of the story

Off topic but... I mean its still a Gundam first and foremost, so there's still a lot of political melodrama, tragedy, and confessions from male characters to go in S2.

You act like those things don’t happen in other Yuri too, that entire description could apply to things like “I’m in Love with the Villainess” or Kannazuki no Miko”

It’s kind of funny how in a larger perspective when people question at the whole point of the Shiho issue or existence altogether. When this whole forum is proving why at some point whether it’s executed well or not, there will be a “Shiho” of some sorts added to a story. In a matter of a few days, this forum lit up like New Years Eve, simply just because they want to argue about the good or bad points of a character and the events it follows as if it’s a trial.

At the end of the day, whether consciously or subconsciously our brains attach more to negative things than to positive. Shiho was that to this story, we want to pick off flaws, we want pick a things we feel don’t belong, we could’ve so easily just dropped it and just started reading another. By of course we didn’t, some wants things to turn around positively, some want to see it all burn, and some of us just want to write our analysis and thesis about the whole thing. Whatever it is, It doesn’t matter if it’s good or not, it gets engagement anyways and that attention is what matters in the end. It’s pretty much the whole reason why this manga got picked up for an anime anyways, the whole drama with Shiho has gotten so much attention whether we like it or not. If the story just continued with Yori and Himari’s, even if it’s just nothing but pure unadulterated fluffiness done well, that in itself wouldn’t have made it stand out enough to be noticed for an anime. Things getting adapted only tend to care about pre-existing sales, the trends, or the opportunity to profit of something, just take a look of majority of anime’s getting picked up from subpar yet profitable (harem) light novels.

No matter how troublesome and stupid these teenagers, I still like this series. Reminds me of watching my old high school drama, granted and thankfully no drugs are involved here. I actually can’t wait to hear this drama unfold with voices behind them and we already know we’ll get the Shiho drama considering she has her VA announced too. Now I’m curious at how the anime will end bc they can’t pull of making Shiho appear before the two get together and we all know how Yuri anime always likes to save the characters getting together at the end.

Honestly Aoi, girl, I could careless if you married a dude or a woman, but my god if you’re so unsatisfied with your relationship that you still would cheat, maybe talk to him and be swingers instead of this. The fact she sounded somewhat satisfied (or maybe even happy I never know with this woman) doing what she used to do for Kaede for her husband. But of course all of a sudden we see that message from one of her side girls that we saw from her wedding, I won’t even give her benefit of the doubt that she hasn’t been doing girls in the side from time to time because she probably has been.

How come this manga has a yuri tag? There are no romantic relationships between the three main characters. Both the kitsune and the Ningyo protect Hinako at all cost but with different motives. At no times do these three show signs of being gay.

The author themself tagged this as Yuri for where you can read the series officially. It’s likely going to be very slow burn, with the romance aspect likely coming after Hinako is in a better emotional and mental state, because let’s be honest, romance or love is the last thing Hinako needs to be worried about when she’s like this.

To the curious ones why Hinako is desirable for other youkai or monsters to eat, but revolting to Shiori. She has essentially mermaid blood coursing through her right now, the properties of both mermaid flesh and blood seem to be valued by not only humans, but other monsters as well seeing as there are monsters that try to nibble on Shiori to get flesh. So with Hinako still being a human, she exudes that same desirability but is also a vulnerable human incapable of defending herself, making her quite the target. Shiori has effectively imprinted Hinako, but the mark she left is barely visible unless the other monster gets so close to realize it, so the only one negatively affected to desiring to eat Hinako is Shiori.

I really hope Kanoko and Sumika don’t truly end up together, as others have pointed out, Nene when faced with something similar was blind to what could go wrong or if Sumika gets hurt. However, Kanoko not only knows what she is doing is wrong, she is even explicitly told that what she’s doing can hurt Sumika, but she does it anyways and just denies any possibility of that acknowledging that truth. The whole “I just have to not tell Sumika and everything will be fine” shit was the line, yeah Yoko is a manipulative bitch, but Kanoko is completely intentionally being oblivious to all her own misdoings and disregarding all the warning bells she herself is feeling. (Like she already knows going to a hotel room with Yoko looks and is bad and they were going to not go, but the second Yoko mirrors her and reminds her what she’s doing IS wrong, she turns around on herself and does it anyways despite what she knows).

I know it seemed impossible after the last chapter for Sumika and Nene to end up together, but now I see it as a goodbye and end to Nene’s foolish and immature love towards Sumika to signal Nene’s genuine maturity to show her change by being completely honest and upfront this time around for her love towards Sumika instead of relying on schemes.

To me that was a bad way to handle that situation, even if they continued being close, I don’t see anything about their situation changing. The two, especially Aki will keep getting harassed. Iku had a perfect opportunity to take a picture of the two bullies shoving Aki. That would’ve been good evidence of bullying the two would have a hard time talking themselves out of if she showed it to the teachers or principal. And if she didn’t want to do anything directly, she could blur out Aki’s face and post it on social media to put the girls on blast, and let social media vultures do their thing. I just really wished they did something to deal with the situation.
