I wish there was a bit more build up leading to this chapter, like her making the decision and accepting and leaving, but I think standalone, this was pretty brilliant. It tugs on your heartstrings in all the right ways, and the clashing of the emotional note and comedic pictures only cause it to hurt more towards the end. My only issue is I wish Mei went a bit more in depth with her reasons for making her choice. Ah well, pretty good chapter.

I agree, not just because he is getting in the way of Yuri (a crime punishable by death) but he’s seems like an asshole.

I decided not to read comments yet and leave the comment first. First of all, wow, she was awake, that usually doesn’t happen. Progress is fast in this story. Anyways, I don’t feel the maker is going about this right. I like Yuri, but I’m genuinely rooting for Shun since he’s such a cool guy.

This is one where I legit want the guy to win, since I like him more than his rival. I love it don’t like our protagonist really at all. I don’t like how aggressive she is towards her friends, I don’t like how she blames the guy for following his feelings in a reasonable way, when she did the same in a less reasonable way, I don’t like how she is basically forcing herself onto the girl she likes without consideration for her feelings. Since that’s probably the end ship, I don’t think I’ll like this story.

Anyways, other than that, the story is interesting and the art reminds me of Shimanami Tasogare.

I disagree. She could say no to her grandfather. She could politely explain the situation to Udagawa. But she doesn't. She might be suffering , but it's self-inflicted. As the saying goes, you can't always have you cake and eat it too. She needs to decide if she wants to please everyone else around her, or if she wants to be truly happy, Either way, someone will end up disappointed or hurt. That's a fact of lifs.

Okay, only one thing, this takes place in Japan, where gay marriage is looked down upon. Assuming she did come out, she would risk possibly being disowned or not inheriting the school, something she worked her whole life for, so she would be throwing away her whole life basically.

If she would tell Yuzu, it is very possible she would make a scene trying to stop it considering what we’ve seen in the past. That is also probably why the others who do know aren’t saying anything.

When you do something, it’s not just a simple do it or don’t, turning down the marriage can have real consequences. This is less make the right choice, and more, make the choice that causes less damage. Throw away the thing you worked your life for, or throw away what may be your future.

So who's the best lesbian side-couple? I'd nominate Akechi and Michi of Centaur no Nayami

Assuming I'm not allowed to choose those two from Shimanami Tasogare, I would have to go with Shion and Kana from Prunus Girl, that arc was great and I like how they work off each other.

If this were a movie, it would probably win awards.

I'd sure as hell watch that!

See? This is what I love so much about Nishi Uko. Almost every yuri out there is about schoolgirls and the stupid drama and "but we're both girls".

Yes, I agree. I have a joke called the Yuri formula, which is my nickname for a common plot line in the Yuri community, and if I have to see it in one more story, somebody is dying.

I feel most don’t do sweet realistic stories like this anymore.

Alright, let’s begin. First of all, this is a really cute story. The characters were adorable and the romance was really nice and enjoyable to read. It was overall a sweet story and it’s hard not to enjoy it.

Now, here are some issues with the story. I liked the beginning, how she said she would develop feelings gradually, which is pretty realistic and interesting, but that was traded out for love at first sight, a trope I’m not a big fan of.

Also, while I like the characters, they felt flat. They didn’t extend far beyond their age. Simply put, it didn’t feel they had a personality. And man, did they not act their age. The “20” year old maiden may as well have been 14 with how she acted, and the “30” year old maiden went somewhere from 17 to 40 with how she acts.

I might be reading too much into it for a simple romance between two maidens, but I take my Yuri seriously. Also, the 20 year old felt too much like a Mary Sue, and tbh, you cknow joe stop reminding us of the age gap. We heard you the first 800 times. I know it’s the plot, but still, it’s repetative, and doesn’t go anywhere half the time.

Overall, pretty nice story for casual reading, but pretty lacking in depth and analyzed seriously, is pretty blah to meh. Since this is Dynasty though, I recommend it.

I have to agree,it's not like it's disgusting...well the penis part is kinda...but this was... weird cos it was "Madoka and Homu".. maybe my mind took it as futa and it wasn't so bad...then again I do not like futa either.

I don’t think that’s what he/she means. I think that means that while you may not be outright attracted to males, you can still fall in love with them if you are close enough, like a demiromantic person, except only with one gender. It’s like having a preference towards tall women, just because you aren’t attracted to short people doesn’t mean you can’t love them, but on a higher degree.

Anyways, I would call this the strangest PMMM story I ever read, but frankly, it’s... not even top 10.

In all seriousness though, I found this story pretty enjoyable, not great, but still good. There were points where the morality of these characters were coming into question, but I liked it, it was cute, Sweet, and pretty enjoyable.

My only complaint was I wish the girls got more development with their others other. IE, Sayako with Asami, or Keiko with Ayumi, so it’s a true polyamory relationship.

I got clickbaited, they didn’t get married, I demand a refund!

All jokes aside though, that was so fluffy and adorable, I almost died of sugar poisoning, didn’t help I was listening to romantic songs while reading.

It’s kinda rare to see a Madoka Magica story that doesn’t focus on comedy or drama, but just sweet, heartwarming romance, especially when the main pairing is Homura and Madoka. Overall, great story in so many ways.

The pun doesn't work well in translation, but when Homura said Mado-Cute, in Japanese, it says Madokawaii

Honestly, I wasn't a huge Mami fan at first either. After reading another story, called Silent Melody. It allowed me to look at Mami in a different light. I mean, I didn't hate her, I saw her as an interesting and complex character once you look at her from a big picture, but out of the OG five, she was my least favorite.
