I think the only one that exists and could fit is Suicide but using it can be misleading af.

Damn that was a sudden turn even though we knew Satou was going through some shit. So not unexpected based on what we know of the characters, but the tonal shift in those last pages is kinda bonkers.

I guess we are finally seeing how Satou can start forming feelings for Makino. Never expected the story to go in this direction for it though lol. I just hope Satou won't fall in love just because she finds she's wanted by someone and she actually leaves that toxic mindset.

Same. I hope this becomes a step for Satou to see Makino as a friend and not a client. Not thinking there are ulterior motives for the other to reach out for her since she is no longer “Maron”.
The romance route could be delayed by the fact that Makino is a complete idiot and will take months to find out she is indeed in love.

Something like
They become friends -> “hey this is a solution to the uneasiness” > notices it’s not -> oh wait up I AM a Riako

I wasn’t expecting this, but I can’t say there were not signs this could be coming. I mean… abandoned by parents, prostitution+day job+preparing for exams (that ain’t healthy), and spoilers

Clearly had something going on with her “sister” who’s probably from a similar background — so they had a “kindred spirits” type of relationship but her sister is “moving on” and has a lover and is achieving her dreams while she’s not part of it at all so she’s lost the only person she thought was an important part of her life

Can’t really say the last page of this chapter is 100% far-fetched. We just don’t see it as predictable because we are experiencing the story through the lens of the scumbag.

But we all know what will happen on the next chapter (it will solve itself quickly)

For someone who is "quiet and reserved" (see character bio chapter), Koga is smooth af. Its hard to say if these lovable dorks realize their in love yet (as Koga did only ask to be friends, not to go out/be her girlfriend), but the first kiss is going to be so worth it.

Even her reaction to Mitsuki being kind gave it away.

Edit: I don't think Mitsuki would even bother thinking about the venue or whether the song is appropriate for a closing act. She picked the song for Aya, because she's there to sing to Aya, period.

This song was released in 2017 on the reissue of their 'OK Computer' (1997) album, titled 'OK Computer OKNOTOK 1997 2017', so it was recorded in '96 and released 21 years later. It makes a lot of sense to say it's a lesser known song by them. So Aya was probably right

What we learn in chapter 3 is that whenever MC makes contact with a ghost then the ghosts regret comes out which she finds quite scary

Now she is in a big dilemma because she now has to deal with a ghost that is scary when she ignores it, what to do what to do.

I don't think it meant that the ghosts' regrets come out per se, I think Michi said that once the ghosts realize she can see them (aka they have contact with the world of the living through her), they get aggressive. Maybe it's their desperation coming out. They suddenly wake up and no one seems to be able to see them, they might be aware that they died but not why they are still in this world, so when they notice someone for the first time since they died is capable of interacting with them, they chase after her. And as it seems negative emotions can be a powerful trigger for these ghosts to turn less human (be it in their appearance, like the little girl at the beginning of Ch.3, be it in their behavior like how Aizawa acted more like an evil spirit/fiend than a girl)

In Aizawa's case I think Michi will slowly start to notice that ignoring also doesn't solve the issue. As the story showed us so far, many of the ghosts MC could see would not hang around her for long. They either just disappear after she ignored them — so they thought she couldn't see them — or lashing out when she interacted with them, which would make her flee and most likely make the ghost loose track of her to never see her again. Aizawa-san seems to be the first case in which she's been "interacting" with a ghost for so long, since the deceased is haunting the classroom, a place MC can't really run away from.

Either Michi is truly the source of Honami's "outbursts" (like the script just exploding here on Ch.5) or not we have yet to see, because if that is the case and she feels she is the reason why people's safety are in danger because the ghost of her classmate has been there for too long, she'll have to act and hope the same thing she's always experienced happens: Aizawa's ghost turns scary/less human and the issue somehow solves itself. A possibility raised by Michi could be that after seeing she can't convince the only human who can see her to help her with whatever it is that she needs, the ghost will leave the classroom for good — something that clearly won't happen in this case.

We still don't know what happens to the ghosts after they try to "attack" Michi and she runs, so I am just assuming what's been going on so far is that she would run for her life and never be found by them again.

We should start a drinking game and take shots every time the admins have to call people out on this comment section. Sure way of dying from alcohol poisoning.

Also every time someone mentions my username when it's uncalled for. I show up because I'm one of the few trying to talk about the story, even if some jokes may not please everyone.

It just occurred to me, but 5 years from now when someone comes to Dynasty to read what people were saying about this manga at the time, they will be completely flabbergasted at how such an innocuous manga could create such intense reactions.

Uh, Aizawa-san is scary now. Could there be something like ghosts becoming more and more malicious and less and less human the longer they stay around? Because in some ways it looks like even Aizawa herself is shocked at what happened.

Maybe she is shocked because she didn’t expect her negative feelings to manifest themselves like this. The first time we see her using her “powers” was out of a noble cause — to help Kasumi find her hairclip that ended up on top of a locker — so she never would have guessed they are (1) potentially threatening to others and (2) sometimes out of her control.

As a former idol, specially with her persona*, I think it’s safe to say that she herself probably never thought she was capable of doing something potentially harmful to others.

*Also, given how she behaves when thinking no one can see her as a ghost, the story makes it a point to show she really is a nice girl who tragically passed. Someone who believes herself to only bare pure and positive feelings can be surprised when something external proves that she is capable of baring ill intent.

The moral of Chapter 5 can be summed up as:
Jealousy (envy towards someone who is favoured by your “object” of affection) is, after all, one of the deadly sins.

Who let the lesbian ghost have powers? That would never end well.

Also, Diana is either going to be a powerful ally to MC (can't see how this works tbh but I can see them becoming friends and MC wanting to protect Diana as well), or the true villainess of the story given her reaction at the end of Chapter 2.

(Could either be her fearing her powers can harm people or her realizing she now has something she can use to affect Lapis)
