Anything other than NozoEli is heretical blasphemy. Also blasphemous heresy.

I love how the pros are so into these events. Amano seems rarin' to go, Takemiya was talking about it on Twitter yesterrday, and the likelihood Morishima wouldn't go is practically nil.

I also like how they're so on-board with the rules. Some fans in the west could do to emulate them.

As someone who has never been to an event like this (actually someone who avoids large social gathers out of principle) I still feel a few of these riles are a bit ridiculous. Like not wearing cosplay outfits to and from the event. Excuse me but I don't think you have the right to tell me what I can and can not wear, especially considering we are talking about something that occurs outside of the event itself.

It's not about "rights". You're taking a Western mindset, asserting your personal freedom over all other considerations, but it's one that they would consider selfish over there. These rules - or to call them what they actually are, requests - are intended to avoid having the event cause problems, not only for the participants at the site but with regard to the event's impact on and interaction with the surrounding neighborhood.

Too many complaints to the venue about the behavior of the attendees and the event won't be allowed back at that same venue again. That would be a serious matter, given that this kind of event is most likely already restricted in which spaces would be willing to host it. If the event forms a bad reputation, even those few would quickly start refusing to allow not only this particular event, but other yuri events by association.

This is how things work in Japan, where reputations and the avoidance of what others might consider as causing problems is important to maintaining business relationships.

Very glad that someone is picking this back up. Sorry it couldn't be us. After the whole Jmanga thing, we made other commitments, and frankly given our historical (lack of) speed, there's no way we ever would've caught up.

I wish you every success in this project, Mai88.

Takemiya-sensei, I truly hope your wish comes true.

Also, I ship you and Editor-san now.

I love age gap as a story premise and Aoko as an artist. True, this isn't her best work, but the only real problem I had with it was that Shizuku reciprocates far too abruptly. If the story had been a bit longer and she had had time to develop a more believable affection in return, there would've been no problem. She may be young, and Sensei may be irresponsible, but that doesn't mean it can't become something solid and enduring over time.

As for the debate, I'll only say that I think it exposes some interesting generational gaps that now exist in yuri fandom - and the very fact that yuri fandom is now old enough to have generational gaps is a sobering thought to an old hand like me.

Looking forward to the continuation. Thanks as always, Yuri Project.

Completely unsatisfying ending. What a shame, I thought the art was great.

Btw in this version, is Anna on the right satellite?

No comment. As you may know, Anna was not on the right satellite in the OVA, but was in the TV series. You'll just have to wait and see which way it goes here.

Senno Knife brings the glorious retro yuri, as usual...I might wish the eyes weren't spaced so VERY far apart, but otherwise, this artwork is classical manga beauty.

Thanks as always, Yuri Project.

With luck, the next chapter should be out before the end of August. I apologize for the long hiatus. Real life issues, as happens so often.

Good story, and I don't understand the whining. These two women have fallen in love and are making the best of their situation. It's not a perfect happiness, but happiness almost never is. The important thing is that they're together and sharing their lives as best they can.

I waited until the end to read this, which was undoubtedly for the best; I saved myself a lot of drawn-out frustration. Sad to say that on the whole, I couldn't really enjoy it much. Kiara was way, way too unlikeable. For 3/4ths of the manga she's desperate to get rid of Nozomi, and in the end it's still not much of change... Even though she says she loves Nozomi, I never really felt it. Mira's artwork was as sexy and beautiful as always, and more yuri with dark-skinned characters (and marriage) is especially welcome, but Kiara's tsuntsun was several magnitudes too much for me.

Nice. Koyama's curvy body...whew. Pretty upbeat ending for Ootomo too; they're often more ambivalent. I liked this one a lot.

I'm confused at the first page who is saying those lines "Darling I love you."? Is it Mei talking to her bear or is she imagining those conversation?

The television is on in the background.

When I first read the RAWs for this chapter (read as in "looked at the pretty pictures") I thought Mei was badass and that Matsuri was just an annoying bitch but reading the translation I have to say that I agree with Matsuri to some extent. Until now Mei has been using Yuzu for her own comfort and didn't give a damn about her feelings. Hopefully that'll change in the next chapters and Mei starts fighting for Yuzu's love.

I think we can definitely say that Mei realizes she's legitimately attracted to Yuzu, both physically and emotionally. But the thing is...

For Mei, sexuality is a tool. It's a useful means of getting what she wants. She went along with the male teacher in order to protect the school. She repeatedly uses sexual gestures toward Yuzu as a way of getting her to do what Mei wants, whether kissing her to keep her quiet or attempting to seduce her to ensure she remains a source of comfort. And the same thing just happened again. Faced off against Matsuri, Mei uses her sexuality as a bludgeon to send a message to Matsuri about what belongs to her.

So even though Mei is truly attracted to Yuzu, with one exception she's only been able to employ it as a kind of bargaining chip for Yuzu's attention. The exception is the kiss at the end of chapter 8. There was no artifice or planning behind what happened there, it was spontaneous, on both sides. Mei was overtaken by genuine desire, and you see her own reaction to it. She's startled.

I don't know how she ended up like this - maybe it was the affair with the teacher, or maybe something earlier - but that's how Mei sees sexuality right now, as a means to an end. Hopefully Yuzu can help her back toward a healthier and more fulfilling sexuality. I have confidence in her.

Thanks as always for the hard work, Yuri Project.

Comparing this to Gurenki (better known as http://dynasty-scans.com/series/creo_the_crimson_crises) is a horribly undeserved insult to Gurenki, which even incomplete is a way better manga than this turned out to be.

i'd get so pissed if someone started ripping my tights, even in the heat of some nasty shit-- like, excuse me bitch but what am i supposed to do now w these ripped up tights? do you know how much these cost??

Well, keep in mind they are part of the school uniform she will no longer be wearing after that day - although one does wonder how she managed to get off-campus with them in that state.

Anyway, I personally never get tired of happy endings, which is why I thought this was just great.

This has always been one of my favorites. The art's a little shaky, but it's mostly fine. I love the dry sense of humor. I love the dignity Sensei carries on with. I absolutely adore the confession, one of my favorites in yuri. I love how completely Hayaka is won over by Sensei's feelings. I love the ending. Everything about this one-shot is wonderful. I've always wished there was more from this author.

You speak exactly for me. It's strange, but somehow I just keep coming back to this one over and over, year by year. Sensei's overwhelming incompleteness without Hayaka, Hayaka's own unfillable void, and how they can only find peace and be made whole by the other...there's something striking about it, and I continue to be struck again and again.

I love the lips, which in my opinion are criminally underrepresented in anime and manga. Drawing the mouth as a simple line with no further definition is an all-too-common practice.

It was obviously real. Why wouldn't it be? If you're refering to the panel on page 62 where you can't see Yuri, it's only because she's crouched on the ground, below the frame.

Although ironically, whenever I reread this story, at the end I always half-feel that I would've liked Nanako to have walked right past without speaking and shut the door in Yuri's face. Only Nanako herself has the right to judge, and she chose to take her back, but what Yuri pulled was an awful, awful thing, and I can't forgive what she did so easily.

Though I have to make clear that despite that, this is an old favorite of mine that I often revisit.
