Well if you really stretch it, it is not impossible. But we have to remember the narrative.
If it would play a more important role in the future besides giving an explanation of why they broke up on the first place, don't you think it would be hinted more during all these chapters?
Because there is no mention of it at all throughout the story.

Strapon sex was kind of related to it, I think. It showed how much it scarred Sumin's mind - she puked afterwards.

Seju is just there to prolong the story imo. There are only six chapters left, and there is still a lot more to cover besides Seju.

Agree.

There is still development for Sungji, and what will happen with Seju's family, the assasin and the new Team Leader.

True.
Also, more Sumin x Sungji stories to come after the manga ends.

Double standard.

Nope, and here's why:
Sungji:
- she broke up with Sumin

Seju:
- she slept with the bartender while being in a relationship without thinking about Sumin
- she slept with the bartender because she was angry at Sumin for losing the ring (what a childish reason...) and probably even missed sex (Sumin wasn't in a mood for a while)
- she knew very well what she was doing and enjoyed it, then lied to Sumin because she didn't want to this mistake ruin their relationship

As for the body language - Asian's have it all differently than the rest of the world. They grow up with those differences and they're so huge it's impossible for us to read their body language and even facial expressions. I work in a place where we have systematic visits from Korea, China and Japan and I'd say Chinese people are way more open than Korean and Japanese. They're not so afraid of "losing their face" as Korean and Japanese (especially Korean, which is funny because I always thought Chinese would be like that the most, Japanese second and Korean 3rd, but it's completely different!). Besides, it's a manga, pictures, and the author isn't always perfect with drawings so I wouldn't read too much into it. And there's also a fact of Sumin usually wearing this tired, bored or sad face. What's interesting though is the fact that Seju got all angry while Sumin was completely calm.

You may kiss and not be a part of this kiss because your mind is not there. Same happens if the kiss is forced. It doesn't mean they were dating IMO so we'll need to agree to disagree on this one ;)

And now it's time for me to go to bed :) My ear is giving me way too much pain... Goodnight girls :)

woah.. Izz , you and I can burn some calories in this thread XD
..
but to follow your logic, then Seju never slept with the bartender, she was thinking of Sumin ;)
...

Ok, last one tonight, seriously ;)
Seju did sleep with a bartender and was well aware of what she was doing.

Disclaimer: while we can't use emoji's, it feels like my comments are angry.. in reality, I am not, just out of cigarets !
so I hope I did not stress you out in any way.

Nah, it's fine. I'm just sick a bit - or my ear is... and we're having a holiday here so I can't even buy a medicine to ease it :/

They kissed in the car. We saw it as that Sumin and Sunhji were kissing, but we all know it was Dawoon and Sungji.

Dawoon kissed Sungji and Sungji was thinking about... Sumin.
Not IMO. They weren't in a relationship. Just because they went together doesn't mean they were together together. If so then I'm together with my very best friend and we're both cheating on our second halves every year for 2 weeks too, just because we go away from everything to the countryside we both cherish.

they dated, this the bottom line, and if I kissed anglina Jolie while thinking of my girlfriend, I still Kissed ANGLINA

Spending time together doesn't always mean dating. They used to be friends. Dawoon used to be an object of interest for Sungji in the past, but Sungji moved on from her. It was also too soon for Sungji to develop feelings to anyone else, even an old love interest.

Yeah and she told Sungji she was interested in her. Did Sungji do anything with this information? No, she went back to Sumin.

no she dated Dawoon for a week starting from 64.

Seju has the keys, she can always walk in whenever she wants because it's hers. She has memories in this house that are more important to her than to Sumin because as I mentioned before, Seju is all about Sumin while Sumin is all about Sungji. And I think Sumin knows that so buying this house from Seju is taking those memories from her, ending a too long chapter of their lives this way. It's cruel, but I also think Seju needs to lose everything before she can really pick herself up and move on so as cruel as it is, it can be good for her. As Avatar Aang once said - when we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change ;)

so she does not care about Seju, but then wants to buy the house so Seju won't be hurt !
why she cares, she could just leave and Seju can do whatever she wants with it

More like she wants to buy the house to take all those memories that are important to Seju away from her - a payback. But I doubnt she has any idea that it'd actually help Seju to move on ;)

besides the point, I wanna see the middle finger in that !

What was it? An experiment?

She's keeping those promises now. To both of them. And she always cherished important promises

If Seju wasn't hurt, I don't think she would still be by Seju's side.

And that is the truth. Her being in danger is the only thing that let her live in the house.

Her being in danger is the only thing that made Sumin have to keep her promise to be by Seju's side.

She was even ready to tell her to get out if Sungji didn't accepted it.

She told Sungji she couldn't ignore Seju. I'm pretty sure if Sungji didn't agree with it, she would secretly help or hide Seju elsewhere.

She told Sungji if she doesn't accept the situation she can find a way for Seju to be out of the picture, but still safe enough.

^ I believe Izz makes a pont that Sumin wants to buy the house because she is not attached to Seju and doesn't care that it is hers. Unlike her parents' house that she would be unable to live, since she was attached to them and it would bring back lots of emotions.

At this point I'm not sure if this really has a deeper meaning.
I don't think Sumin will ever completely get over Seju, but at this point this is a step to move on form her. She doesn't care that Seju bought her this house. She just doesn't want to feel like she owes her anything.

Hah I just want this story to end already lol.

That's exactly what I meant. A final thing to move on. And quite a middle finger to Seju too.

Would she go to Seju in the middle of the night if she though Seju was angry with her? Before cheating, yes. Now, no. She did that with Sungji though.

When Sungji was angry at her about her cheating with Seju, she didn't go to Sungji in the middle of night though.

That would be pointless. She had to let her think about it. She messed up, she knew that, it wasn't the time.

When she was in Japan, she thought about... Sungji.

While Sungji was busy dating Dawoon. lol

It wasn't really dating.

She apologized over and over again for what she did, pretty much begged to be together again.

Really? I remember she just apologized once only.

On the stairs.
In Japan.
After she came from Japan.
Before Seju x Assassin.

She's working her ass off for Sungji.

What did she do for Sungji? I think she was working her ass off for Seju's company.

She did everything Sungji ever wanted her to do and... she enjoyed it. She's still doing it. And she wants more.

And Pporonge loves her - is she the only person he doesn't bite? ;p

I don't think so. Pporonge hasn't met Seju, Nami, Dawoon, ... yet. She might be one of a million people he likes.

I doubt he ever will.

And she's still by her side, even after the incident.

Sungji did that for herself. She's failed to move on with Dawoon.

And how do you see her even being able to move on in less than a week? Impossible.

Sumin is opening up to her now. Slowly, but after so many years it's hard to tell everything at once.

We don't know if it is hard or not because Sumin never bothered to try to tell Sungji yet.

Yes, it is. Personal experience here, with group therapy.

Just look at how they communicate right now. It's not warm at all. Sumin is all business to her. Short orders, no normal conversations. I actually can't remember when was the last time they had a normal conversation

Like in this very latest chapter, "Have you eaten your breakfast?", "Don't forget to eat your lunch.", ... ?

My mom used to tell me to eat my lunch too. But she always knew if I ate my breakfast or not. Happens when you live under the same roof. Unles... someone doesn't really care to even pay attention.
Also, it's not a normal conversation. Shor question and short order/plea/reminder. Nothing else.

She told her face to face she pity her.

For being so hotter, prettier and way richer than her. lol

For trying to manipulate Sumin to come back to her.

And Sumin made promises to Sungji - to never leave her side again being the most important one.

She made that promise to Seju too. Her promise is breakable though.

She's keeping those promises now. To both of them. And she always cherished important promises.

About the ring - Sumin was there and experienced the same. She doesn't really care about the ring.

Sungji has every right to feel strange after what she saw. She did broke up with Sumin and then let her back, which is completely different from what Sumin did, but Sumin's case was also different because she was attacked by Seju's brother which made it impossible for her to ever truly come back. It started her change.

About the house, there's this very interesting thing... Sumin could not live in her parents house because she was too attached to them. Current house is different - she's not so attached to Seju as she was to her parents. Buying it from her would cut their relationship for good. We also have no idea how many times they did that out there and not at Seju's. What we do know is that Sungji started healing Sumin out there - the very first comfort she was offered was out there.

If Sungji will break up with Sumin again, Sumin will end up broken - we've seen that already. Sungji made it very clear she's not giving up, it even shocked Seju - twice. To me Sungji always felt a bit possessive, but in a good and funny way. She's like... marking her terrain and Sumin is a part of it. She wants Seju to know that.

The thing with Sumin x Seju is that their passionate love happened years ago, when BOTH invested in the relationship. Now it's different. Seju is still all about Sumin, to the point where she can't imagine her life without her, but Sumin is all about Sungji. She WANTS to do things with Sungji. She changed, she found happiness again. Something she didn't have for a long time. She even started to like plushies - which is kinda cute, really. She feels safe, something she need and want. Would she go to Seju in the middle of the night if she though Seju was angry with her? Before cheating, yes. Now, no. She did that with Sungji though. When she was in Japan, she thought about... Sungji. She apologized over and over again for what she did, pretty much begged to be together again. She's working her ass off for Sungji. I agree her relationship with Seju was more showed, via flasbhacks. But I think it's because we needed to find out about her past. Who she used to be, what changed her, how much it all changed her, how she slowly started to going back to who she used to be before all the tragedy and years of living in toxic circle. Seju and her borther's actions changed her into a little monster, a cold person who refused to feel and treated sex as casual thing that didn't matter too much until she met someone she thought she could be with, but no one stood by her side long enough for her to open up because they were losing patience with her so at some point it felt like she stopped caring at all. Sungji is different. Sumin was unable to seduce her even with drama speech (chp 11). What she was offered was... comfort. Something she didn't have for who knows how long. Sumin clung to it and from that moment she started waking up. Sungji showed her life is more than just sex, it can and should be happy. And she's still by her side, even after the incident. Sumin is opening up to her now. Slowly, but after so many years it's hard to tell everything at once. Seju knows it all because she's a huge part of what happened to Sumin. She was one of the main players in this game. Just look at how they communicate right now. It's not warm at all. Sumin is all business to her. Short orders, no normal conversations. I actually can't remember when was the last time they had a normal conversation that wasn't connected to their game. The dynamics in both relationships are completely different. Both Seju and Sungji want Sumin. Sungji told Seju it's not the end, she won't give up. She told her face to face she pity her. And Sumin made promises to Sungji - to never leave her side again being the most important one. So we have 2 people who don't want to give up on each other (living here and now, thinking about the future) and 1 person who seems to be unable to let go (living in the past). Seju is the one who needs to heal or at least start healing. Sumin is already doing it and went quite far with this process.

I'm now to the point that I only wish for just one scene, even if it's just a one last scene of story, I want to see a genuine happy Seju in someone's arms, someone she loves, no matter who that is and I'll be contented. I only ask for one scene, just one simple scene.

Nami <3

Why it must be Nami? Because she is the only character left in the story? It's Seju decision , she can even alone in the end.

I ship them... :p

Nammi loves Sumin

Edit: And I think both SejuxSungji know that =))))), they've hinted it a few times already =)))))

P.S: I want Sungji =))))

Nami loves Sumin as a friend :p they've done it and agreed it was a mistake :)

What with this changing position according to trusts. Why the hell did she even sleep with someone while she didn't even trust them? What a player!

Sometimes it was only about sex. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Where is that idea come from? If it was common, being a bottom would mean that your partner doesn't trust you. It hurts your prides.

I was saying that sometimes when it's just about sex, trust is the last thing on your mind. I was also just adding that there is nothing wrong with having multiple sexual partners.

There's also a fact Sumin wanted to trust again, but got burned and even end up being beaten up so she changed into full service top until Sungji came to her life.

I am curious sbout the top and bottom thing but is there a time when Sumin was a top before her and Seju broke up? I felt like she never became one till after.

Sumin - service top, easily bottomed if she trust someone. She lacks the true dominant vibe IMO.

More questioning what she was like before the original break up with Seju.

From the small amount of flashbacks we are given, I think she was the same. She's very shy when it comes to her.

She was the one to deliver. She let only Seju and Sungji to deliver to her, although Seju before the break up, I think. Can't remember her letting Seju to take care of her own needs afterwards.

Are all Seju lovers, Sumin haters? and vice versa?

Just curious lol.

No? I think =)))))). Cause there are alot of teampink fans out there :), they love both of them apparently :), more than I could think of :)

I think some of them seem to want Seju to get with Sumin because they think Seju deserves it not that they love Sumin lol.

Edit: In the same way some Sungji fans think she deserves Sumin.

Hm, can't talk about other fans, but I see Sumin x Sungji relationship as "they deserve each other". Equally. Both of them invest in this relationship. Both of them made their lives happier. What Sumin needs most is emotional stability, someone who will be there for her and it won't be all about sex - Sungji gives her this. What Sungji needs most is someone she can be there for since her entire life she was the one being taken of, she wants to feel needed and important - Sumin gives her that.
