I don’t know why, but they both remind me of aunts on opposite ends of the spectrum. The lesbian unmarried double income aunt who says cool shit and the nosy “WHERE’S YOUR BOYFRIEND ARE YOU MARRIED YET” aunt.

A truly unstoppable force if they’re the married to one another

Ehhh not really feeling the kidnapping, felt really abrupt since we weren't really shown the protagonist had such deep issues with themselves beforehand. Was pretty cute without that though.

But why does it always have to be "I don't love [gender], I love you". It feels like authors are downplaying homosexuality every time lines like these come out, like you can't simply be gay, it has to be because there's this special someone and that's why you're attracted to someone of the same gender. Yeah I know, probably reading too deep into it, I've just gotten kind of tired of seeing the trope everywhere.

I mean aside from the yandere parts, I think when certain characters say stuff like “I don't love [gender], I love you” I don’t think they’re consider gay or lesbian, but more pan or bi, depending they might be specifically considered, within the lgbt+ terminology, demisexual/romantic. I’m not sure how familiar most writers are with that term tho in Japan. I would actually like to see more pan and/or Demi characters in fiction too, since it’s a rather unrepresented demographic within the lgbtq+ spectrum

Yeah, me too. Then again, I am pan, and that part of me wishes "Don't look down on me! Why would I stop liking you because you [are x gender/have x type of genitals]?" was a more common reaction in general.

Same actually, I fit more with the Demi spectrum, which is probably why to me saying stuff like that don’t feel like cop outs since I would probably react the same. I think it’s just rather underrepresented in most media which is unfortunate

Also, I feel like she had a chance to have a relationship with her as a woman if she didn’t go bonkers literally the next day. The way Misaki reacted to Akira before she went to bed pretty much hinted that she was still attracted, but the ending kind of made it feel like she said that to reassert control of the situation so she could escape and probably report it. If by some sort of miracle they’re still together in a sequel, considering how dark and dramatic this ended as, why not make Misaki the crazier one in a sequel in which she’s the one locks Akira to belong only to her, like threatening her with the “I’ll tell the police you tried to kidnap me” kind of shit if she tries to break up with her, cheat on her, or tries to be close to others.

I honestly can't wait for the Hu Tao, Yanfei, Xiangling, and the upcoming Yoimiya Harem. I just noticed how Hu Tao's shipped with the pyro waifus and Yoimiya will probably go in with the mix considering that there's a 'leak' of her voiceline where her butterfly necklace was given by Hu Tao herself (a person whom she dubbed as a 'important person' for her)

So you mean to tell me Hu TAO is one of Genshin’s biggest ballers. I mean can see why they get along tho, they’re both quite explosive characters. Every patch Mihoyo is little by little imprinting their love for yuri in the characters, it’s probably to prepare us for the gaes that are Yae and Baal

Um, I think we’re due for some explanations on those flashbacks(?). I wonder if in some past life they were also brides but the roles were reversed

This continues to be the weirdest premise for a yuri manga ever. "I'm married to you, but no homo". What's even the point?

Surely the point is to erase the no. Not the first time we've seen this, either.

That's exactly the point. Also it's not that weird to me, I've heard a decent amount of people purpose the idea of a platonic marriage to a friend. Just because it sounds fun, or they don't want to die alone, various other reasons along those lines.

I mean to be fair some people don’t feel the need to bother looking for some cliched romance Hollywood and the media seem to try and normalize and sell when there are people in the world that would be perfectly content and happy being by themselves or with their friends, and since more often than not close friends are usually roommates anyways to cut on living costs, so why not take it a step further for taxes lol. Some relationships don’t really change nor does it have to just because the labels to the relationship did.

This is the second version of this with Keqing, it’s really seeming this is just her character to be perpetually embarrassed

Damn, this is gonna lead to Rurika’s friends saying they aren’t good for each other because Sera wasn’t there isn’t it. I think Rurika really needs to be honest and have self worth, she should know that Sera would put her first over a concert and I’m sure Sera would tell her that too.

I think the story is basically now about Saonji trying to ignore the flags and signs Tachibana is blatantly setting up and giving her about them being together since she clearly realizes what she said about the reflection and how she reacted after basically shows she’s aware. At this point I wonder what it’ll take until she finally has an honest with Tachibana about who or what they are

Did anyone notice, on the fourth frame of ch. 76.1...

Tachibana pings Julie's phone and you see Julie's name on the phone screen and...

There's a wallpaper image of...

9 RED ROSES

Considering Sensei herself said in rose language that Julie’s the only one for her, it’s not that surprising, but it could explain why Julie looks awkward in that silence/panel before her phone rings

^ Yeah a properly built C6 Eula should be hitting much higher even if you stick with lvl. 6 talents and a 4* weapon when you factor in superconduct, she should be hitting at least 1 million bc of the bonuses all her constellations gives.

Damn tho, a C6 Eula hitting those numbers, must have bad artifacts for it to be hitting that low especially if they’re using Keqing for superconducts too

Pink hair girl is basically all of us

I can only imagine how many here would try to charge in on them to raise some flags for them, especially after Saonji’s monologue about the prospects of SenseixEditor and SenseixKoito a few chapters ago

Sheesh, she should’ve just rejected her, at least that’s an answer and would’ve been less painful for Mikoto. Mikoto wasn’t even trying to rush her when she reminded Bakazaki about her confession and was giving her time to sort out her thoughts. Now she really deserves to lose and be told to stay away from Mikoto cause all she’s doing right now is hurt her and unless she can work out her issues it’s best to stay away from her if she actually does care about Mikoto.

Honestly in Sayo’s case, she really needs to figure out her own worth as a person in order to healthily pursue Mei as more than a friend. Rinna’s a coward and easily spooked sure, but this chapter shows that she’s not afraid of being rejected in the end and admits her love for Mei regardless. She knows her flaws and good points and wants to be accepted of all those aspects of who she is. Sayo is too insecure about herself and her feelings and that’s really what’s setting her back, she needs to be honest with herself and Mei about who she is, good and bad parts, and work towards who she wants to be as a lover for Mei

I mean her mentioning the sister as a “soulmate” might just be the way the world recognizes compatibility when it comes to reproduction, it might have nothing to do with their compatibility to be in a relationship with one another or as people. For all we know the sister and mc could end up being the type of people constantly fighting and not get along at all, and I don’t think she should sacrifice her relationship with the president just to satisfy the world’s view on alpha/omega reproduction, not to mention the effects and further trauma the president would have to deal with if mc dumps her for an alpha mate who also happens to be her sister.
