And when she confessed it turned out that the feelings were mutual (with just a small age problem that a year of time would fix) so the older lady had the time to fall for her too! I assume we'll be told all those details in flashback?

That wasn't class, that was cram school.
Remember, it was late in the evening or early in the night, and the high schools are closed at that time.
Fuuko was in cram school and about to get out. She guessed they were at the festival because of the yukata. She ran and arrived in time to stalk them and take pics. An hour or so had passed from the moment mc posted the photo with her and gf holding hands, so it's reasonable.

This is the best yuri manga. I will not hear another opinion.

At this point, whatever ambiguity still remained has been swept away. She says "normal" for "love" and this chapter gives us conclusive proof.
The narrative pivot of the story at this point is that Sayaka is trying everything in her power to make Mako say "love" instead of "normal" and so far keeps failing miserably. XD

You all, there's plenty of manga out there with assertive lolis who go after adults in a sexy way. Ever read Itou Hachi? In one of her furry-verse stories the loli is a lion furry and the adult woman is a sheep furry, so naturally they end up like this and of course onee-san is incapable of resisting the dominance of the superior predator, lol.

There's also Yuru Oyako by Taiyaki and lots more. This manga is fundamentally the same thing... except that the age/looks quotient of the mcs is reversed: onee-san looks like a loli, and the loli looks like a curvaceous goddess with a sexbomb body.

The scenes in the panels are the same in the original Japanese version, the English version and the Spanish version.
Serina's line carries the same meaning in Japanese, English and Spanish (assuming it was correctly translated—which it was).
Since it's like this, any reader should be able to pick up on the funny side of that particular situation, whatever language they're reading it in.
