I always interpreted Akira as being into Ayako, but never actually having done anything with it and that her sexual comments is humour more than anything, or at least something Ayako just tolerates. I certainly could say what she does to close friends without there being any explicit meaning to it, so I'm surprised how seemingly "canon" them having a past relationship is. When she says she'll never be worthy of loving her, wouldn't a past relationship mean she'd say "I wasn't worthy" or refer to anything that went wrong? I feel it's a lot more of an unrequited love thing than that of an ex.

Considering how Ayako's romantic interactions with Asuka's made her think of her late husband and not Akira would suggest to me at least that it's the only romantic partner she's had. Otherwise a same-sex relationship surely would make her think of her time with Akira?

Also, when she says "I don't mind if it's me though", I'm pretty sure she refers to letting Asuka be romantic with her? Since Akira said it's pretty cold of her, as in, allowing a one-sided romantic relationship. There's absolutely no way she'd say she'd be fine with Akira fucking her, that just doesn't fit the situation here or what she's said previously.

I totally called that siscest though. I wonder if senpai made advances on her little sister and the parents found out hence why she is living by herself and she changed her number and hasn't seen her in years

Just how young were they when it happened then? Senpai can't be more than a couple years older than Asuka in the flashback, who was what, 14? so did the senpai advance on her younger sister when she was around 12? Seems way too young to throw your kid out regardless of what she does

I can see this either being resolved in one chapter by forcing them to talk out their feelings, or spawn another ten subchapters of chapter 14. Man, what did I get myself into...

Man, why do I keep thinking that a high school manga would be anything but high school melodrama?

Really hoping they keep that momo guy for a later chapter and that his existence isn't just a convenient advice dispenser. But then again, if he comes back, he'll likely be that anyway judging by how this manga's been up till now.

Would've been more satisfying if they ended by continuing to kiss each other without swapping, but oh well
Just a few missed opportunities but nothing particularly bad per say

Could someone explain to me why everyone in this series is talking about the importance of getting married in the Heisei era? Is this some Japanese custom I've never heard of?

This manga can be almost uncomfortably relatable/realistic at times.

That's why it's awesome. I'd like to see few more like this, in fact.

There are some SK manhwa's that are sort of like this, but they tend to have more family drama or love triangles instead of just problems between the couple.

Absolutely agree with this, I much prefer issues like this than the constantly forced love triangles *cough*citrus

This shows a lot of potential, in my eyes. I truly hope it won't get left like Prism...

Wow, I just noticed this series for the first time and I'm loving it. Gives me Their Story vibes with the college age and fun but realistic take. Following their life together feels refreshing, it always saddens me when stories just end the moment they agree to date (since that's where the fun actually begins!!).

I'm fine with how the oneshot ends, but this fleshes out both Miwa and Saeko a lot more, they're already showing development (ie. Saeko opening up to telling others about them without degrading herself and Miwa realizing her dream type might just be fantasy).

I always thought we'd be getting a twist and that it's all going to be OK. But....This really is mom x daughter huh...

I, for one, would certainly be disappointed if this didn't turn out to be an incestous relationship, considering literally all the previous chapters have been building on it.

I'm confused. Wasn't the last page of ch12 still about the black haired girl and her lying about something? What's with the flashback that doesn't even mention her?

I'm more interested in Sumon's story, since he seems to be the trans character. Transguy characters are sparsely few in manga. But until now, he seems to be getting the short end of the stick.

I hope he doesn't end up a headcase too.

At this point, him being in the background is probably a good thing.

Can't wait to see what kind of fucked up direction they'll take the trans guy in ^^
