If she commits suicide, then all the character development will go to waste

Hmmm, I dont agree, she has to live because of other character development? What about herself?
She doesnt even have the reason to live anymore. The tendency is pretty clear in this chap, and if this chap has showed some implications of that but she didnt do it, I would say that its a bad development for Seju character. For Seju herself, she no longer has the reason to live and if she doesnt try to kill herself once in this story, at this point of the story when she literally has nothing holding her back. I would say its a useless build-up for her own character.

You cant expect her to miraculously look at an old house and go "hey, I should forget and live here" xDDDDDD.

Honestly, one particular scene leads me to think that she should do that is this sentence "if it all ended back then" and her face when she said that. Ended in her sentence is not actually ended the relationship, it is her own life XDDDD

whether Sumin is there to stop her or not, so I don't think it will happen.

Sumin is busy with Sungji and well, she doesnt even know where the house is, lol.

The eldest definitely sent someone to investigate chairman's will, and then there is that ugly brother's ugly look... She may get attacked in the villa like her mother did. If it happens, Saehyun, rather than Sumin, will the one to save her.

I'd rather have her commit suicide than an attack xDDDD. It suits her own development more. Simply because she was pushed to the edge now and if she is still like how she has been for most of the story, what is the point of building a desperate Seju all the time? xDDDDD

She needs to do sth that is built for her and I think committing suicide at this moment is not a bad choice with all the pending implications since the beginning and this is the right time xDDDD

Whether she is saved or not, I dont know lolll

your comment is conforming to my view and does not defy it XD
then you tell me: oh, I am so not like a Libra XD

xDDDDD, honestly I cant deny some facts that are in SejuxSumin's favor XD but not strong enough for me to let go of my thought of SungjixSumin ending XDDDD

About the Libra thing, they all say Libra is very elegant(me? elegant?), has fashionable sense(me? lol xDDDD)
Except for the indecisive tendency, nothing about Libra is true for me XDDDDD

I honestly dont have any back up for my own ending side except for the same old they are built from the start, all the same old reciting reasons.... which are not even convincing for myself so I cant argue with you because I know I would lose. That's why I never talk about them, rather I talk about why SejuxSumin cant really be back as a couple xDDDDDD

Has anyone here thought of Seju would come to the house and choose the exact same way of dying just like her mother?

Or is it just me while everyone thinks she would feel for her mother and live in that house?

I know we have so many other stories like this, but what if you believe Sumin x Seju could happen only because you want to see something different for once? lol
I mean to me it sounds more like a wishful thinking rather than reality.

No, its not wishful thinking, have you ever seen a story that makes for a new love to be the end but the other third wheel character(like Seju) gets so many descriptions about how devoted she is to the love that she once had till the very end?

Most of the other stories(no, actually, its all other stories), that so called third wheel will have either
- Move on and say 'I think I dont love you anymore and I will go finding peace somewhere else, etc....'
- Someone else comes along and falling in love again with that person

Neither case is for Seju, instead, the author keeps emphasizes Seju's love for Sumin, how she would die for her and how she worries for her more than her own self xDDD. Even worse, the author took away all from Seju(now the father), she only has Sumin left, losing Sumin will mean losing all to Seju. Why? To kill herself and then die conveniently? I would fire the author's entire house if they did xDDDD.

Yes it would be a good ending. And bittersweet. But the thing here again is, we are talking about what would feel nice to some people, not based on what the plot actually points to. And I'm pretty sure some TeamBlonde fans would even disagree with this point anyway.
They could easily say the moral of the story is to learn how to let go of the toxic past etc, so a Sumin x Sungji ending would be better and make more sense.

XDDDD, what people defines toxic sometimes is not exactly toxic, dont you think? it depends on people's view xDDD.
And sometimes safer choice is not the best choice xDDDDD

Well, you're asking why people see sejuxsumin is still possible so here are the few signs
- Fate is the theme
- Sumin's own growth about her feeling, from running away to accept and dealing and understanding
- Seju's consistent and unchanging love
- Sungji's own recognition about SejuxSumin's nature
- ......

And many more, I myself dont bet for that ending but I do understand why they still believe in that ending. I'm just not convinced enough XDDDD

Anyway this chapter was nice but I just want this to be over soon lol. It has been making me feel angsty for 1.5 years now. I feel sad for both Seju and Sungji lol

Also for Sumin xDDD, all of them are XDDDDD

You're wrong. There is another way to make SuminxSeju to be back together in just one chap without any dramatic events, lolll.

damn, I actually say it when I bet for the opposite, lol

Btw, since alot of readers think SejuxSumin is impossble, so why do you think the author emphasizes Seju's love for Sumin till the very end? The more the story goes, the bigger that love is described? Something that is not really getting that much focused with Sungji to Sumin?

Coming from someone who bet against them... yoonie, you're adorable. XD

For this manhwa, it seems to be the case that many readers have slowly changed their views on the character dynamics.

I'm weird and now I'm also adorable? xDDD Wow, you guys make me feel like I'm very bipolar XDDDDDD

Anyway, I might bet against them but truth is truth, I still see some possibilities in them, not completely impossible xDDDDD, but still not as big as SuminxSungji possibility xDDDDDD.

Nora89, mpgpeg(seriously, your username is giving me hard time to type it, lol, could I use jpeg instead, so easy xDDDD)

You guys are too confident with your choice xDDDD. I hope that I'm not too arrogant to say this but it seems I know what you guys think that will happen next and how to solve things but well, its not easy for that to happen and well, the whole drama Sungji gave up for the sake of Seju then Sumin went back to Sungji ultimately for Sungji's noble and selfless act is totally possible, you know xD

I dont see the same as your view cause the idealistic personality is still sth I put into question xD but to me, even with whatever decision or thinking she is having, whatever comes out of it will be another development of her character and whatever she gained from this will solidify her own character, not just as a Sumin's lover, as in Sungji alone, not Sumin's love interest.

unless the author messes up in the end and gives us a most anti-climatic for Sungji's development, Sungji is actually very well-written for an angel-like character with her own problems

Even though some of us(including me sometimes, tbh) dont like her overly nice character and sometimes giving her some bad insinuation to make things more interesting for her character but as a character, she has learnt from an innocent girl to a girl who understands people's pain. So just merely think she is just there to make Sumin love again and she only matters cause she is with Sumin and forget her own values as an independent character, that's just a shame.

I suppose we'll agree to disagree while waiting for more chapters :P

We should, because the way I'm thinking about is depending alot on the author, lollll and unfortunately I'm not the author xDDDDD, but there is really a way, I'm just not sure if it ever happened xD, since who knows what the hell the author is thinking, xDDDD

If anyone here still genuinely believes Sumin will go back to Seju, I want to ask why? How?
Just because they have better chemistry doesn't mean this. All of the signs right from the beginning have been pointing to teamblonde ending. And honestly, Sungji's character doesn't have much development outside Sumin, so if this happens it feels like her character was slightly pointless.

If you look at the story as a findind-new-love-and-moving-on view, yes, you might think that everything is saying SuminxSungji is the only ending

But that's the problem. We have too many familiar stories like this so we often stereotype our own perspective, like this happened so the next thing is definitely like this because it has been and should've been always like that xDDDDD

However, if you think of it as another view, as forgiving-and-love-again, or fate, there are alot of signs for Seju and Sumin to be the end xDD.

As for Sungji, it would be a shame if you dont see her own growth as a character in the story xD. And if she only matters only when she ends up with Sumin then she is a bigger fail than when making sejuxsumin and sungji alone xDD

Yea, sumin is moving on for real. If sungji breaks up with her, she is probably not going back to seju either. Butt, if seju gets attack again... Is she going to flee with her? Will it be out of pity or love then?

Yeah, I feel like Seju getting attacked and fleeing is the only way we could see a SuminxSeju ending at this point and if Seju's brothers did indeed get everything due to Seju declining then there's really no motivation other then spite.

I still see that she is okay and relieved and I will take Seju's words for it this time.
No, she is relieved and all with her father's death, she is finally free from her family after all. What I means is she is not fine with dealing of losing Sumin, she feels it and she knows it. The most significant word she said would be "If only it all ended back then"

Indeed her love for Sumin is beyond the Pacific ocean.
Just Pacific Ocean? I thought there is nothing on Earth could describe it? XDDDDD
But Sumin's words broke my heart (and seju) XD. To think that Seju was always waiting for her in the snow and to tell her not to wait anymore. It's just too much. Unless there's a deeper meaning behind it.

Hehe, it should be like that to make it consistent with the plot xD. You cant expect Sumin to go back to Seju or sth. She would be saying sth to end and make it stop so she would be with Sungji like her initial decision when now Seju is no longer in danger xDD. The plot is still well-developed the way it should go xDDDD.

I honestly still wait for sth else xDDDD

I wouldn't want her to die. She inherited nothing and so maybe there's no more reason for her life to be in danger. She isn't devastated too much by her father's death too and Maybe she will love her mother's house and live there. I still want to see her resolve of "I can't live without Sumi.n" But more than anything, she really deserves to be happy.

I dont want her to die either but lets see.

There's still Sungji though, we still have to wait on what she's going to say. She still has her insecuritie and uncertainties. I think whatever she has to say, that will do it. In this chap, I guess it's going Sungji's way?

Sungji is an interesting hidden card xD. She is the one that the author hides her feelings and thoughts till the end.

This is very very interesting,
in ch88: Sumin looks back at things that Seju's felt ( the unheard apologies.. and the lack of trust especially this http://imgur.com/a/4SUUR)

I doubt Sumin even realized or made a comparision with what she felt and what Seju felt back then xD. As a character's perspective, Sumin didnt even think about it, only us, the readers xD

in ch89: Seju looks back at things Sumin's felt.. the loss of a family member even though that she didn't understand how it feels.. but she related to it in case she would ever lose Sumin.

interesting

No, I dont think that for Seju to think what Sumin felt. In Seju's words, she doesnt feel the lost, so basically in that scene, I believe, Seju havent felt the pain of losing the person she loves to death yet so she thought of the moment Sumin is dead, she cant imagine it. She is not sure, she doesnt know because even right now, she doesnt feel it. So now if she lost Sumin for real, how would she feel?

7- I have no idea why Sumin said that she wishes this would be the last snow that they would be together in.. or why she refused to go see the place with Seju.. argh. I am out of ideas about this one.

If that's accurate, that seems like a pretty clear sign that Sumin is finally moving on from Seju.

Lets see about this xD. She might choose to be with Sungji but moving on? I'm not so sure about that xDDDD

Either way, I can't see the current status quo not changing.

I dont believe it will either xDDD but to me, saying Sumin has already moved on from Seju is too soon xD.

Her words has the tone of finality but if I'm about to fairly judging Sumin's feelings as what I read and perceive since the beginning, I'm not so sure about using the word "moving on".
Unless something big happened, even though SejuxSumin is not endgame, I probably wouldnt use the word "move on" to describe Sumin and Seju xD.

6- another reference to the snow and ch2 flashback.. I agree with yoonie there is something about the snow between those two.. and how it is somewhat connected to their believe of fate.

Oh, maybe the time when they two actually first met was in the first snow of 17 years ago.

From the tone, it was more than that xD. More than just first meeting.

I guess, from all their high school years and maybe even before that. Seju always waited for Sumin just like in chap 2, under the snow xD.

And if my guess were right, we might have one more flashback about snow. Last chap and this chap are just an opening for some snow stories xDDDD

You should notice this, when Sumin appeared, Seju actually looked up to the sky, as if she was enjoying the snowfall. Someone like Seju has that kind of reaction for sth around her, it implies sth else xDDDDD

I honestly think SuminxSungji is endgame and Seju would live alone at the end now.

Not sure if I'm happy or sad about this :)

Why do I have the same feeling about this. Augh!
Seju seemed okay. Sumin ran to Sungji.

Seju is not okay. Just wait and read the translation for you to understand xD. However, I would say Seju's words this chap are sad and...beautiful(?), I dont know, but for a Seju lover like you(and me), you'll love her emotions this chap. Its sad but I love it

She might die next chap or forever alone but as of now, I can be confident to say that she deserves to be happy. She deserves it. I dont care anyone saying she's evil or bitch anymore, for me, to be able to reach to this statement confidently, its not easy and I like it.

Sungji is weird. She said she would do sth, but this is how she "does" sth.

I think we'll have to wait and see if the next chapter is the last one or not before you can say that was Sungji's plan or not.

She is still thinking. I know that and I dont think next chap is the last chap xD

let's hear Sungji's side ..

it's interesting.. Seju talks about how she doesn't know how to grieve.

and with Saehyun she tells him clearly: I can't live without Sumin.

Its past tense. I'm not so sure about the present

Haizzzz, Seju's words are so sad and I love them :). She's truly amazing when it comes to love in her own way.

Sungji is weird. She said she would do sth, but this is how she "does" sth.

This chap Seju tugged my heart way more than Sungji and I'm absolutely not being biased
