And I like it now so she better don't mess it up. I'd like them to stay friends if they don't end up together...

Haha, if nothing happens so where would all this be going?

To the end.

I don't know why and if it's only me, but in this chapter I had a feeling like Seju is letting herself move on. She didn't try anything... No seducing, no manipulating... Weird.

Why is it weird? =))))) this part I dont find it weird though, no seducing or manipulating =)))))

Seducing like letting clothes loose or sth like previous chaps? I think it's Sumin who is worried alot about that so she make sure Seju's clothes stay on but well, Seju has never openly seduced Sumin =))))), wearing bras while sleeping? Sumin is doing just that last chap =))))), that's how they sleep in wdtfs, I think. Wearing bathrobe after a shower? That's normal though. I think what others insisted on calling passive seducing is quite normal to me =))))
Manipulating. Dont you see since the beginning of arc 3, Seju has changed. If she wants manipulation, she wont talk to her brother about stopping using her name to say sth to Sumin =))))))). It's safe now for me to say this, back before when Sumin said she loves Seju, Seju thinks Sumin hates her, so according to Seju's mind, only making Sumin hate her more, she'll come back to her and hate her more, that way, Sumin will come back to Seju, only doing it the bad way, Sumin would come back, to hate her, to torture her but come back nonetheless =))))). Now, its different.

And I like it now so she better don't mess it up. I'd like them to stay friends if they don't end up together...

what makes me believe that Sumin in fact ws knitting that scarf for Seju is her comment (in case the translation was correct)

Sumin: shall I knit you something as well? since I think there will be some thread left after making the scarf?
Seju: it's fine, if you work during the hours you knit, you probably be able to buy 100 more scarves?

NOW:
Sumin: but I knitted this personally, never mind, go buy some nice one then!
<- referring to the scarf

then she looked really depressed
.....
also, it seems that Seju is the one wearing scarves lately

Nah, you've analyzed that too much =))))). If one thing could be concluded from that conversation is how practical Seju is and how Sumin is quite a romantic =))))))), basically showing the differences between SejuxSumin :). From a rich and business person's perspective like Seju, she'll find it waste of time =)))))). so weird, I wonder where this will be going, consider how warm up SejuxSumin is becoming and how nicely SuminxSungji is going =)))))))

The message is clear in this scene - you can't BUY love. What you do is more important. Seju was always for the money. She's seeing a completely different side of Sumin these days. Something she never saw before. I like their friendship going ok now, but I wonder is she's plotting something or not.

But nora, after this chap, SuminxSungji's ending is even more convincing in my mind
They even have a way to sneak a date now, they date when Seju is at work =))))))), Sungji has a month off work after all =))))), basically it'll be like this, Sumin dates with Sungji in the day while spending time with Seju at night?

I won't be surprised if she moves in or stays there from time to time.

Why is it that we get more SejuxSumin scenes? Shoudn't it be the other way around?

We wont next chap =)))), since Seju is at work while SungjixSumin is well... sex or sth, movie?
We'll probably see cute scenes from them

But after seeing the translation, I'm confused more about what this is leading, SuminxSeju are like old friends while SungjixSumin is a couple, guess that'll be the ending? What's that? @@ The living arrangements seem fine now =))))

I don't know why and if it's only me, but in this chapter I had a feeling like Seju is letting herself move on. She didn't try anything... No seducing, no manipulating... Weird.

I think you read too much into this. All Sumin thinks for a while is Sungji. She's openly jelly of her, even in front of Seju, which never happened before, and she does it genuinely.

Also - The winter is coming. What Seju is wearing isn't a scarf, but it doesn't really matter here.

I also think we're getting sex in the next chap. It feels almost like a waste of time with everything that need to be solved.

This scarf is very symbolic though - both making it and the color.

Please explain about the color and symbolism

Red string of fate, also known as red string of marriage. Since we brought Naruto here, I'll use it as an example. Naruto's parents' rsof were Kushina's red hair that helped Minato to find and save her when she got kidnapped. In Naruto and Hinata's case it was the red scarf she made for him. Scarf is also used in Shingeki no Kyojin.

All I can say is that if it'll end like Naruto did... I'll be pissed. That jump between ch699 and 700 was insane and completely brainless. Filling that gape with 1 movie was weak, badly written and rushed up, didn't satisfy me (and I shipped Naruto with Hinata more than with Sakura).

Well Naruto, what can i say, after years of following it and you get that kind of ending makes you wanna punch the author. And i always hoped naruto and sakura will find their way to each other

The story was built for them to end up together, that's true. And I was always sure he'd up with her even though I wished for a change and Hinata to take her place because Sakura, as much ad I lived her, was kind of... Just didn't feel too alright. I was he end up with Hinata because there was absolutely no building up. And Sakura end up with her abuser... I sold the entire series I boight and canceled all my pre-orders.

I kinda agree with izz. It doesn't feel like there's 5 chapters left. Nothing in this chapter that tells it's moving to the end unless the next chapters will blow up like a bomb.

scarf I thought Sumin was making it for Seju to hide the scar.. but it was not like that... so I really do not know what the chapter is telling us, indeed Sumin and Sungji are wearing matching cloths.

Since I know Korean, I understand it right from the start and not confused like you, Seju managed to steal a joke here and there in that scene also but I do realize she's masking her own feeling, this time that masking thing is clearer than the other chap
Despite its lightness with all the cute scenes from both ships, this chap gives me unsettling feelings, like a tickling bomb =)))))), especially when I see Seju's face in that scarf scene =)))))). I'm afraid she might do sth later if this becomes too much. What's she planning exactly? I dont get Seju at all @@. There is no good things come out when Sumin jumped between SejuxSungji like this
PS: is it really 5 chaps left? Its a mess there this chap @@

It feels like there're more than 5 chapters tbh. Nothing is even starting to get solved.

Honestly, even if SuminxSungji do end up togother like most people have predicted, I hope that Seju will still end up alone without moving on with another person, I want to keep her loyal love till the end. Such a sad thing that she would move on with another person. Her undying and unbreakable love for Sumin despite of every bad thing or hardships is cool no matter how toxic like everyone said. I know it's selfish but I dont like seeing her loving someone else. Let that love become eternal and forever :), to prove Seju herself that there is thing that lasts forever :)

Seju ending up alone if team blonde is an endgame is 200% sure.

Wish I could write more and more often, but my phone is really, really broken. Bought a new one, but gotta wait for it until tomorrow evening or Tuesday morning...

I don't think she wanted to get revenge for Seju betraying her. I remember what she did after broke up with Seju was that she sold her house and left Seju. That's all. She started her revenge on Seju after she was hurt by moleguy. So, imo, she did the revenge on Seju for what moleguy has done to her. Which was not understandable at all.

you know, Saehyun is really something, he told Sumin at the hospital in ch59, that the compensation was not the money, but that she was given a chance to take revenge on Seju. what did he mean ?
that part drives me crazy!.. did he know about the bartender thing at all ?.. or there is something we don't know yet
or did I miss something ?

I think he's playing his own game with both of them. I don't know why, but I've got a jealous vibe from him when he talked to Sumin after he scarred her...

Sumin would talk to the redhead and end things instead of getting beaten up and then ending things. Isn't it different?

After being beaten up, we saw Sumin asking if redhead could fix things, which implied that she really was in love with redhead, and had not gotten over redhead yet even after she got beaten up. Therefore, I don't think Sumin could just talked to redhead and move on easily like you said. I mean she was still not move on from redhead after being beaten up by her fiance, how could she easily move on with nothing happened?

But she would've talked to the redhead instead of facing that bastard.

Wanting someone to suffer and getting that person back by wanting bad things isn't healthy at all. If she was the one who told the fiance (and I believe she was), it was crossing the line.

Is there a healthy way to get Sumin back? I never said that she was an angelic person who wouldn't cross the line. Speaking of which, why hasn't she secretly hired an assassin to hurt or murder Sungji yet? If you did cross the line without regreting your actions, you sure wouldn't be hesitate tin crossing it again.

No, there's not. That's why I find it so impossible for them ending up together.
If Sungji got hurt or killed, Seju would've lost Sumin forever. I think she'd lose her even if Sungji broken up with her. We've seen a glimpse of it after Sungji did break up with her for a while. Sumin closed herself, wasn't responsive like she used to be before.

Sumin wanted revenge for Seju betraying her, it's also understandable. She chose the wrong way, breaking up would've been enough.

She couldn't go to the police and didn't Seju tell her she'll take the blame on herself? Sumin's mind was f*ed up pretty badly, she simply started to blame the wrong person, but Seju's cheating had to be a part of it because Sumin used a very specific way to make her suffer.

Seju is not an angel and her love for Sumin isn't healthy to both of them.

Sumin isn't an angel either and her love to Seju changed IMO. They aren't close anymore, even Seju admitted that by answering Sungji when she asked if they're friends now. Seju said -friend. Single person.

Sungji was created for a reason. With her, at least Sumin can get healed and since she's the protagonist of this story, we can end up with Seju not getting any of it. I'm actually starting to be afraid she won't get a happy ending, which would suck, because she deserves to be happy too. What I can't see for sure is Sumin being good for her and there's more than just me seeing their relationship as toxic. Sumin is Seju's drug. And drugs are bad. She can't be truly happy with her, because she wants Sumin to hate her. And if she won't be able to let go, she'll never be happy without her either. Right now, I can't see her letting go. Unless something really bad happens which will force her to let go to keep Sumin safe.

Seju then sees Choi at a party with her fiance and over hears her talking on the phone to Sumin.

she already knew they dated, it was a coincidence to attend the party.

She still is the only one we know who saw the redhead with a fiance.

Seju is then there to comfort Sumin. ( Of course Sumin could have called her but showing Seju there in that particular moment is important)

do you know that Sumin went to SEJU's house, it is quite hard to miss that one !

Doesn't change anything.

When Seju and Choi(?) go back to Sumins, Seju is in her car watching them.

have you noticed that Sumin saw the car FIRST ( a black aventador is really hard to miss), then she asked the redhead politely to go, but then changed her mind. clearly very clearly she was supposed to meet Seju for whatever reason then but ignored her.. same situation ch44 (one chapter ahead) - not spying no, Summin saw the car, hesitated, then decided to go in with the redhead) ... ch44 same circumstances, very clearly Sumin was expecting Seju, then changed her mind

You don't know that. Seju could've been simply stalking Sumin.

Seju then sees Choi at a party with her fiance and over hears her talking on the phone to Sumin.
Seju says in her flashback. "Coincidence or not" this implies that it's not always coincidental. Also she says this twice which makes me think they are playing particular attention to the phrase

wow, so now there are implications

More like a hinted confirmation.

The whole speech about Sumin suffering along with this whole particular chapter.

it means that Sumin would not come to Seju unless she is suffering and hurt. does Seju wish that, yes to see Sumin not necessarily to HURT her herself

Yhm, wanting to be hated by her contradicts it.

the scenes show clearly that when you have sex in the office, more likely than not, people will know !
and they can take pictures .. they can also out you !! in the same chapter you saw the redhead in the coffee room !!
..

We'll never know for sure what Nami knows about it. It's a closed chapter. But the fact above stays valid.

Nammi knows nothing about the Baeks, when she went to Sumin to tell her about the Blind dating thinking Seju was lonely.. guess what !!! she knew nothing!!
..
your arguments are invalid.
if you tell me you believe Nammi in this, I will bring the bartender incident and the phone call thing, since Nammi knows that Seju is not the kind to sleep with anyone when she likes Sumin!
..
be consistent, DOES NAMMI KNOWS IT ALL ?

The scene with Nami is more like a confirmation to the scene where we've seen Seju seeing the redhead with her fiance. You love scenes so much and repeat they always have a meaning, but you completely ignore this one for some reason.

The bartender scene we agreed is cheating no matter what. And it's also a closed chapter. We most likely won't know more about it.

how can you be so sure when they had sex in the office.

Fiance never came to the office?

we do not know, and we do not know if someone else told him, and we do not know if Seju got his Facebook account either. :D

Nami isn't stupid tho. And Seju loves to play. Why would she openly admit such thing to someone she doesn't like and who's Sumin's friend? ;)

I repeat Seju's question, what does Nammi know!
why would she explain anything to Nammi in the first place.. she did not even bother explaining the blind dates thing to her and just let Nammi say whatever hurtful thing she said in ch31 ! do you really think Seju cares what Name thinks of her

Its not about thinking of her. She could've and most likely would've told Sumin about it.

you are losing the point here, DOES NAMMI KNOW ANYTHING for sure ? and does Seju normally care of what Nammi thinks?
NO
then your point is invalid.. proven by chapters and scenes.

I love how much you love those proves and scenes because you can't say Seju wasn't the only one knowing about the fiance when story showed her seeing them together for a reason ;)

We'll never know for sure what Nami knows about it. It's a closed chapter. But the fact above stays valid.

Seju should've told about it Sumin, not the guy.

What would have been different if she did? What kind of a better scenario would it be? Are you sure it wouldn't end up the same or even worse than what happened?

I never forgot about that, but really, at least Seju had her reason on why she wanted Sumin to suffer, unlike a certain person who wanted Seju to suffer just for the sake of a revange, not to metion the one she should get her revange on was moleguy, not Seju. A reasonable person would report moleguy, not to hurt her ex like that.

Sumin would talk to the redhead and end things instead of getting beaten up and then ending things. Isn't it different?

ch45:

Seju: I love you, I love you, the distance where I can feel this emotion.. I wish you can suffer even more, so that you come looking for me, and hate me as much as you want.
(Seju thinks that she can't feel this emotion- love- and see Sumin unless Sumin is hating her or suffering )

Well... Sumin was most responsive when any other relationship of hers went to hell and she end up in pain. The best example to it was when she got beaten up and went to Seju for some kind of comfort. Seju couldn't reach her before, Sumin went to her by herself in great pain - emotional more than physical.

cool, does it prove that Seju actually ruined her relationships ?

This one, I believe was her doing, but it wouldn't have worked anyway. But if Sumin was told about the fiance, she wouldn't end up beaten.

We don't know if glasses already worked in this company.

the Glasses-ssi is a real manhwa example of an alternative explanation to what Nammi thinks.
in a sense, that there might be someone in the office who ratted them out, and not Seju herself.

I know what you mean and i get it, but the story shows Seju was the only one who knew about the fiance.

Also, ths way Seju responded to Nami hinted it was, in fact, her who sold it to the fiance. She was the one who saw red with her fiance together.

Seju did not admit it! instead, she focused on knowing what is it for Nammi to interfere anyways! in the end Nammi is not entitled for any explanation

Nami isn't stupid tho. And Seju loves to play. Why would she openly admit such thing to someone she doesn't like and who's Sumin's friend? ;)
