Seriously UlquiorraSchiffer1 A lot of mangakas start from drawing hentai. It is not uncommon at all. Also that is one of her first work when she was just getting used to being mangaka at all and finding her way in the industry. And as was mentioned, we women can and are just as perverted as men are, not our fault society puts on us that innocent image that we have to be always pure etc. Just because she did one story like that to try it out (and we don't know how much publisher was involved into creating it) doesn't invalid all of her other works. It is such petty way to cut yourself from artist. I'd argue Mare isn't even a hentai cos for the most part, you can't really shlick to it. It just has sex and violence, but it is a dark story. Like berserker I guess (never read/watch it).

I for the most part I liked Mare. I liked protagonist, plot wasn't half bad and I didn't mind story being more serious and dark. Not to mention having to pleasure demonesses to be able to use their power was pretty nice. And it has yuri ending.

Funfact: I’ll always put the name of the dominant character in a pairing first in a (name) x (name).

It is common practice in writing (yaoi) parings to place seme first and uke second. Actually it is so important in "naming" the paring, that if you mess the order and/or someone don't agree with who is where, you can get insulted and attacked just for that.

Ok, I'm 100% agreeing with this. As I said I don't think it will great, but at least I like they try to adapt it and not just make something completely different under the same name cough Dragonball Evolution cough.

I don't hate this series. The only reason I don't read it is because it has too much drama and angst and I'm not ready to invest into characters and give my feels if it isn't going to end in yuri. I'm willing to read it if I know for sure they end up together in mostly positive way. So I probably watch anime once it ends and I get confirmation how it ends.

I did hear a good bit about progress in the series and read thread for some time and from what I heard I agree Hotaru is pretty conflicted and sympathetic character. It might look like she goes too far sometimes, but I can get behind her reasoning and can't really hate her. So I'm totally ok with this series being adapted.

Well, to me it was both. In general them getting together was pretty drawn out, but most of the drama was really rushed and instead of relying on real impact and having any meaning, it was just done by number cliches that author knew will make people react cos people are used to that kind of stuff in low key romance stories. Which is proven by how popular this manga is in japan. So many romance mangas done them and they still sold. It is good way to make average reader want to read it, but anyone that already saw it enough and want some variety and actual development, won't be able to stand it. Talking from experience.

I think it's finally getting better with the more recent chapters since they are actually tackling real relationship problems which is why I hope the anime covers more than the suggested chapters of 16 and 20. Since Citrus is exploring the "after getting together" part of the relationship, it would be nice to see a yuri anime that does the same. Many of them end before it can get to that part due to manga not being done or not enough episodes to do so.

That is my main issue in het romance as well as yuri ones. It never gets to "get together" part and if it do (usually in het mangas) they go for cliche drama of love triangles, stupid misunderstandings or my least favorite, being forced to break up. Because that is exactly why I read romance manga for. After first few chapter of Citrus, which I really liked, reading it become so painful, I just couldn't bear it, so hearing it actually did get to the part I so want to read about is a bit annoying. They really should have get together ages ago. Maybe if anime will rush through those plots I will watch it for those couple moments, cos sure as hell I don't feel like picking this manga again.

Regardless of the fact that I wished other yuri series were adapted instead of Citrus, I am happy with the news of an actual yuri title coming out. It feels like it's been a long, long while since we got something that wasn't subtext and queer baity.

Yea, any yuri anime is a great news, but still I really wish they picked anything else. If not something great, at least series that I actually did enjoy.

So I finished it. I have to say I never played one of those games before, but I did enjoy it. Most likely cos it was yuri, because nothing else really grabbed my attention. Maybe I'd got more from other stuff if my main reason to play it wasn't because it had yuri in it. Gathering pieces of info was pretty entertaining, though I have to say after a while it become a bit tedious. At first I was grabbing everything ready to discover some secrets, but sadly there was barely anything to discover this way except of things that were obvious. I know it might not exactly fit into story and it isn't that kind of game, but I wish there was more puzzles and things to discover by examining different objects. Also combining items and using item on item was really underused. Somewhere around middle point, I stopped bothering to pick up pens, pencils, glasses, soda cans and other stuff that was obviously not going to have anything. Also it might be kinda obvious, but game is not going to jumpscare you or anything, though the mood is definitely there.

BTW. One scene towards the end is a bit racy, so I don't know why this game isn't rated R, but I guess they thought nobody will notice it.

I'm not sure if giving up their families is such a bad thing in their case. They both weren't really happy with them and especially Sam's parent didn't even accept their relationship. Only lose is Katie, but from the way this story is told I feel like she is totally cool with her sister and they will meet up one day and get back in touche. There is no reason why Sam can't still become a writer. All she has to do is write. It isn't like she has to finish school or something for it. If anything, it is Lonnie that give up her dream to be with Sam.

On the side not. I really liked how Katie didn't want to read Sam's note about her and Lonnie having hot lesbian sex xD

Yea, it was kinda weird. It wasn't like Major was going nude on purpose. Usually it was more of situational thing and she was just not ashamed. Here it looked as if they saw anime, considered naked Major is how she usually is, but they didn't even bother to make her really naked.

I downloaded it and installed alright. Running the game first time was a bit laggy, but as it turns out, it was because game was set to highest settings by default and my laptop is old and not really powerful. It seems much better after I lowered the settings but I still feel like my machine is just not good enough for any current games anymore... Also I really wish there was setting for changing mouse sensitivity, because it moves way too fast for my taste.

I guess game stopping working after the promotion ends is unlikely, but maybe making account just in case won't be a bad idea.

I'm sorry about stupid question, but I never used the itch.io before and I have no clue how it works. Do I just need to download it and it will work fine or I need to create account and claim it now, cos if I don't, once the promotion is over I won't be able to play it anymore? Or do I need account to play it in the first place?

Regardless if Fate is good or not, it has some good songs, so I think you should treat them as such. Just piece of music.

It really does remind me how voting works here in Poland. There are basically 2 biggest parties that are only real candidates. Rest has no chance of winning ever so voting on them is pointless. So it always boils down to which one of those 2 will win. And the most sad/annoying part is that both of them already had chance to rule the country and both done nothing with it, but for some unyurily reason when they keep on promising same shit over and over again, people still fail for it and vote for them anyway, instead of trying something new. Seriously this make voting feel so pointless.

That is exactly what I'm talking about. I don't like dicks either, but some hate them so much they can't even handle seeing them once at 1 page and go all angry if they weren't warned. The length people go to wanting to keep yuri pure and not even having male characters in it, cos it by default pollutes yuri is getting ridiculous in some cases.
