That's rude of her, to say the least. Try to keep your chin up, work hard, and makes lots of dough. There's really no replacement for the feeling financial independence can give you.

Well, she didn't directly say that and she probably doesn't even realize she insinuated it and I guess she didn't mean to but... she did insinuate it and I didn't like that... because when it comes to trying to encourage she'll tell me "don't worry, you'll be fine" but technically she'd never say that she'll just try to make sure she makes a bunch of plans in case I mess up and when I say it's not needed she will insist that it probably is. It's all lies; her trusting me, it's just that if I ask her directly she'll act like a good mother and say she does but when it all comes down to it she just thinks I'm not mature enough or responsible enough or whatever.

That's a part of life that's hard to learn how to navigate no matter how old you get. But mild heartbreak is probably accurate. You have to really want something from the person for it to be extra bad, and it seems like you're still occupied trying to get your footing in school and work and college life in general. Try not to let it get you too down and focus on getting done the things you have control over :)

I don't visit this thread anymore, I'm regularly on WDTFS one though. I need to focus on my work, and conversations make me really lose my drift anf focus.
But I couldn't sleep tonight much, so I decided to visit this thread and look a couple of pages back and found this xD

I've noticed the news about Su's health before, and I'm glad she is fine! I don't usually like to say much, because I feel like words are meaningless in these situations. Anyway glad it all turned good!

Also about Citrus lol. To be honest, I dont really dislike it, but not something that excites me either. After last year's 4 month hiatus people started losing interest though. The updates shoud be once in a month imo, to keep the interest going. Because for this much wait, we get almost nothing in the end.
It was good in the beggining, but it feels like the author had the idea only for the first chapters (maybe until Mei's dad arc) and then ran out of ideas, so she started introdusing new characters.
Last chapters, it has gotten a little better, now that there is some develpment between Yuzu and Mei.

I think that we got way better yuris during last year, so Citrus has lost its shine because other better stuff have emerged too, like FF and WDTFS.

I think people are paying Mei's mental scar of her father having left her way too much mind. xD I haven't read Citrus for a long time now, but Mei always struck me as a young girl, who suffered some pretty bad emotional abuse at the hands of her grandfather, which lead to her developing some sort of stress-related anxiety disorder, probably going hand in hand with what seemed like emotional and social detachment disorder to me. She probably has abandonment issues as well, but those don't seem like the core of the problem if you ask me. xD Then again, she is a fictional character in an equally fictional story. Chances are the author maybe really wanted to display abandonment issues (why continue mentioning her father otherwise?), but failed miserably due to lack of proper knowledge on psychology, lol.

yeah, tbh that issue with her father doesn't seem that serious... she comes off a bit as having a daddy complex >.>

There were pages in the Citrus discussion, especially when it came to chapters in which Yuzu cried for some reason, that some people tried to get behind it all and started psychoanalyzing the characters. According to them, Mei has abandonment issues and lacks empathy or at least can't express it properly because of those issues and Yuzu is the one slowly healing her. These pages always gave me a good laugh. xD

I still read Citrus, the drama isn't what particularly bothers me, though it's related. Basically Mei; she stopped making sense as a character, no one would be that cold with the person they like... and we never get a clear reason as to why she does it other than her arriving too conclusions too fast and being a brute in general which is what causes all the drama... some jerk I know really likes it though

If I was Reo I would tell Meiko that I'll always be her friend but she needs to go to a therapist and sort her mental state out. But, that’s why it’s a drama manga so the problems don't get solved easily instead they get dragged out

The thing that would make this manga better is if Meiko changes and stops being a controlling person. I want to see the change happen then I can support Reo X Meiko ship but for now I ship glasses girl with Reo.

For example, in this arc, Seju looking away, while Sumin and Sungji looked at the same direction seemed to me that these two are on the same page, and Seju is the outsider.
So...this also means third arc might not be Sungji's too, but more balanced to the three characters instead of only one.

yeah but I still think there will be some revelation about Sungji. Besides she's the least developed of them all, I think it's time to show her inner thoughts.

Fans only guessed which arc is whose based on whose face is shown on the banner. So the current arc is Seju's arc, because her face was the only one shown in the new banner, and the first arc was Sumin's, for the same reason. So, if that's true then Seju's arc should end somewhere around chapter 54 and Sungji's arc will start after that.

I've seen this talked about for as long as I can remember. But what makes the 2nd arc more about Seju than the first? Or less about Sumin?

All I remember is a fan started guessing that the second arc is about Seju, because her face was the only one shown in the picture of the new banner on lezhin when the secon arc started, and assumed that the first one is about Sumin because, again, her face was the only one shown. So all this arc is about this and that are all just an assumption. It was never said that it's true. People just started assuming that this arc is more about Seju and the first arc is about Sumin, and the third will be about Sungji.

why not? it makes a lot of sense. I wouldn't exactly say the arc is about them but more like we discover something about them in each arc. The last arc was about discovering things about Sumin and her past and in this arc we found Seju's deepest feelings about the relationship so we can only guess that in the next arc we will find something about Sungji. Because the order is just too aligned to be a coincidence.
