I wasn't quite all that bothered by it, felt like one of those horror manga that try too hard to be creepy.

But yeah, had a :) on my face the entire time, it might not be too memorable or particularly fucked up, but it was still not exactly a comfy read. Even if I will forget it in half an hour.

Appearance-wise, they look like the bloom into you pair. The premise feels like a dozen oneshots I read.

She didn't get an answer. According to the prologue, they simply moved on with their lives.

Didn't see any unanswered questions tbh, they went out in school after the festival incident, had to separate due to different goals in life, the one who stayed took a while to recover, finally did with another person, got rekt by meeting the ex just as she thought she got over her.

At least that's my read of the situation.

I predict that Mitsuki and Jerkface will be doing committee work alone since Aya won’t be helping out anymore. Jerkface will ask why doesn’t she just tell Aya who she really is and we get a trauma backstory on Mitsuki’s insecurity of why she doesn’t feel like she can stand next to/confront Aya.

Bonus prediction: Mitsuki’s insecurities maybe come from the “childhood friend” we have yet to see, but that’s just my stab in the dark shrug

I kinda hope not and that she is just socially insecure and really introverted. Every time we get a situation like this, it always ends up with a dramatic backstory and childhood trauma involved - for once, I wish it was just a person's natural inclinations to be the cause instead of some freudian excuse.

I always knew that watching car crashes and train wrecks is my hobby, so it doesn't surprise me I still intend to read it despite this chapter.

I appreciate the private account with the followers aspect, since I look forward to seeing all the characters introduced. Plus we might even get more later depending on how things go, and we might get some returning characters with new sex angles, along with possible group play. Seems like it'll be a fun lewd ride.

I love the way things are going. I love that Miyako is aware of her situation and that she went all-in for the kill. I also very much appreciate that for a character that is depicted as very easygoing, carefree, and a tad airheaded, she's also capable, intelligent, and emotionally aware (for lack of a better term? I dunno, feels fitting). I feel that there are a lot of nice little surprises like this in the manga, where the writing and/or world/character building are better (and more interesting) than one would expect.

I think that was a big point of the flea market episode. To show that despite her goofiness, Miyako is EXTREMELY socially intelligent and despite her puppiness, is extremely smart around people and handling social situations. And that's why Suga got loveblasted while watching her work because her brain started turning the gears that 'oh, right she is a very capable gorgeous adult who's in love with me'

This makes me wonder: I cannot think of many socially competent and confident young adults in yuri manga (or manga in general) off the top of my head. Is it just selection bias or are they really that rare? And if so, why do y'all think that is?

Pretty sure most of the non-MC cast of Swallow Tail fits that description.

I would be losing interest if it just kept on with the status quo gag of Aya not realizing that her classmate is the person she was crushing on. It is actually moving on, which leaves me hopeful that it has a structured plot that was thought up ahead of time and will have a proper ending.

I don't think "taking advantage" is the right way to describe befriending someone because you're romantically interested in them; it's more the concern that a friendship based on false (or unstated) pretenses is inherently unstable. This is a particular concern here because Saki is basically Kanon's only friend; losing her would be a really big blow, and there's a risk of that happening if Saki confesses and gets rejected (or vice versa from Kanon's perspective).

Just befriending, no. Befriending someone with a disability with that sort of ulterior motive CAN be seen as having potential for exploitation.

so Saki finally admits she's in love, though given the framing she might still view that as a bad thing because in her mind that means she's somehow taking advantage of Kanon by being by her side.

It would be taking advantage if she had no interest in Kanon without the romantic angle. If the only reason she was being friendly and helping her out was that, it could be seen as a negative thing, a bit like work relationships between a boss and his worker. Yes, she clearly does not intend to, but it is the potential for abuse is the reason such things are frowned upon.

Aww... How did this chapter go from really cute and fluffy to sad in two damn pages. I'm glad she's realized her feelings and all but that ending hurt Asako seems to be the generic oblivious as fuck main character though. I mean Myiako didn't flat our flirt or anything but the sudden change in demeanor should have at least had her question why Myiako was doing what she was doing.

Given how she can be at times, she probably chalked it to her eccentricity.
