Does anyone remember the manga where the protag falls for her best friend? But her best friend is only friends with her because the protag's not romantically interested in her. The ending is pretty twisted and abrupt where the protag musters up the courage to confess to her friend, only to get shot down and have their bridges burnt completely.

Looking for a series I read on a different website in 2020, and it takes place in high school. The main character and her friends are kinda like delinquents I think. And I remember something about her running down the stairs and bumping into the other MC or maybe some other girl. Either she or her friend gets in trouble and they have to help out with the gardening club after school. I’m not really sure if it’s a gardening club, but I remember specifically something to do with potted plants in a classroom and I think there was a kitten in a box that the MC was taking care of in that classroom. There were only a few chapters at the time I had read it, and I remember the last chapter had like a small altercation that ended with somebody punching somebody. The most memorable thing I remember from the series was that it looked like it was sketched a bit roughly

I think the weird thing about this tag is that discussions about what series should be tagged with yuri vs subtext are debating subtext vs romance, not subtext vs yuri. Why are the tags considered mutually exclusive? Seems more like a 4chan way of viewing the genre

I haven't seen the conversations, but I assume it would be because whether or not there is yuri is generally pretty clear.
On the other hand, it's possible for a budding slow paced romance to look like it's merely subtext at first glance. Especially if it's in a genre that have a habit of featuring subtext, like the oh so prevalent school girl slice of life.

^ Now, the conversation is getting weird. But I think their bodily functions works the same as human. Think about it, baby Clark wouldn't have been conscious of it, and the Kents would have had a hard time taking care of him if he pissed with the pressure of a fire hose.

@elevown I am absolutely no expert, but I'd say: It largely depends on the continuity (or the writer, comics can be pretty inconsistent about things) WW has regularly been presented as Superman tier, or considered the strongest Woman in the world (her or Powergirl ).

I saw a tomboy confessing to her childhood friend today, they were so adorb.
teenagers, Late middle school probably, first year high school at the absolute most.
They where in a little discreet corner partially hidden by shrubs and bushes on a road that was pretty much deserted at this time of the day. I did'nt mean to spy but i happened to pass above them at this moment.
She was talking about how they knew each other for a while and how much their relationship meant to her, Clearly struggling to spit it out. Then she finally said it, clearly on the verge of running away in panic.
the other girl congratulated her for working up the courrage to confess, Reciprocated, took her hands, and tried to lean in for a kiss, but got too embarassed and kiss her on the cheek and hugged her instead.
then they locked arms.
They were such adorable baby lesbians i felt like aplauding them. (that would have been embarassing for them, i assume), but I kept going my way (I had even started trying to walk quietly without realizing it).
my words doesn't do justice to how cute that was. I just HAD to share this story.
