I now understand why someone said the ending was a disappointment. It was cute, but felt like the author was given the axe warning around chapter 91-92.

So this person met Kageko for like ten seconds so far and she hasn't yet met Sakurako and that means Sakurako must no longer exist? Seems a bit extreme.

tbf kageko does think about how she hasn't spoken to anyone for a long time. she probably means except sakurako but you could read it literally and infer they might have broken up.

Could easily be that she had a lot of work piled up and was going through it to be able to spend time with Sakurako without worries later.

This latest chapter is funny and cute. No problem there.
But I'm very annoyed at something this series has been doing for a while and this is the worst instance of it yet.

What the hell happened between chapters?! This is astronomically unsatisfying.
Last we saw these two they were having a major moment in their relationship, a confrontation that had been a long time coming and should have been revelatory for both of them about what their feelings are, what their relationship is and will be, what they had been doing up to that point and potentially so much more.
Instead we skip to school?! And they're... chill? What is their relationship? Mitsuki asked a very direct question and I guess Aya just didn't answer? That must have been awkward... Was it? What was the dialogue between these two in the moment? We don't have definitive answers to any of these questions because it seems there is a mandatory time skip between all chapters. Either we get the important events in 4 pages or we just have to catch up and guess when the next 4 arrive.
This latest chapter should have been a direct continuation of the previous one. Even if the conversation had to conclude with "I don't have an answer yet" or something along the lines of that trope, we needed to see it happen.

She quite clearly answered "yes" and they split to go about their day, both feeling awkward about stuff.

Every now and then I get a good belly laugh out of this. This chapter was one such time.

Here wondering at folks who are lamenting Ouka-senpai's customer. She's the nightmare case: prevents the worker from expanding their clientele, tries to dictate more and more of their lifestyle, actively pursues them when they try to cut things off, and eventually makes it impossible to continue working.

The way I read it, Ouka was kinda leading her on - she never outright said no or made any indication of discomfort until she switched to a different branch.

I don't really have a problem with them not telling their friends, since it's clear what they're worried about is not their friends not accepting them but rather changing the dynamic of the group. They don't want to feel pressured to explain themselves, deal with the inevitable teasing or be singled out as a couple when hanging out, which is totally understandable.

It'd be awkward for the rest of the group too, who probably wouldn't know how to act around them for a while.

Now I hope it'll be a story about the protag helping Meguru get over her trauma, while getting over her own not-quite-yet-criminal inclinations in favor of Mimei.

it's all certainly interesting because it's so obvious from the start that Lapis has gone through some traumatic event in her childhood that makes her view commoners with as much derision as she does. Especially when she's shown to be fully capable of seeing Natori a commoner from another world as a perfectly capable person who can be just as skilled and classy as nobles are. But somehow there is a mental block here that stops her from connecting those dots that makes her view the commoners of her world as barbaric nonetheless.

Don't see how those contradict. She doesn't view the peasantry as intrinisically inferior, she says herself that they are "barbaric, selfish and easily angered" due to their lack of education. She just doesn't have any reason to give a damn about their welfare, especially considering there is anti-noble unrest among the common folk. She quite clearly makes a distinction between the unwashed masses and specialist craftsmen, such as the ones making magic jewelry.

Too many awful men in my yuri, they need to be exterminated.

Better yet, bad writers need to be told to git gud.

Yunimaru may have been doxxed on Twitter at some point in the past, hence the reluctance to reveal her real name.

That seems like a stretch to me, keeping yourself anonymous is common sense on the internet :P
... or at least it used to be, maybe not anymore.

Depends on the individual. Some care more, some care less. Also, depends on where - getting doxxed on a discord server for a fandom you are part of is not the same as getting doxxed on a large, more generalized platform.

I'm surprised Miss Sunflower knows the word 'siscon'.

She does read a lot, after all.

Well, what is she reading, though?

Miss Sunflower is an introvert with an old-fashioned style, but she’s not a hermit. She went to high school. Ayame, for example, could have explained “siscon” to her at any time.

now I'm imagining ayame with a grinning face explaining NTR, and being disappointed when miss sunflower goes "I see. that's how it is" with a poker face

Can you not though?

Really hoping Rio does not turn out to be a love rival, the plot is more interesting with her being a well-intentioned third wheel.

"She is always dressed up for some reason..."

Wow, I wonder what could that reason be!

Pretty sure the motivations from all the customers were decent from the start (decent from a "this makes sense, in a weird way" kind, not morally-decent).

The thing about all Japanese people studying English in school is that the whole population is potentially an audience for bilingual puns.

That is potential that, for most, will not be fulfilled, since they suck at it.

That pun reminds me . . . I've been forming a theory that traditional Asian culture revolves almost entirely around dad jokes and bad puns. 'Cause, like, all the traditional holiday thingies that you eat or wear or give people or stuff are traditional because their name is a pun with good fortune or money or something.

Isn't a bunch of their humor based on puns too?

This was great, but way too short! I hope there's more on the way...

Imagine being a parent and finding out your daughters are in a romantic relationship. That'd be weird as hell. Like, they're in a relationship, they're gay, and their partner is their sibling. Triple whammy.

I would read a manga with that premise tbh. Nicely blended drama comedy about a mom finding out about her daughters and trying to adjust to that, played lightly overall but also getting into serious issues about how that would impact things and societal views on incest (justified or otherwise) and the like.

As long as it doesn't stray too deep into Aaaaaangst or gag territory, sounds like an interesting idea.
