Happy to see a series that I've ended up favouriting keeping up with its charm. I really like how the age gap was executed, with nothing creepy about it and the main characters acting in a logical way.

Also, having read the next chapter on Gelbooru, I think I just died of diabetes. Would do it again.

She is a queer kitten xD.. her sense of smell and her hearing are extremely well-developed, but when I reach to pet her, she gets startled by my movement and jumps off suddenly. Maybe she has some problems with her eyes, though she is definitely not blind. My tasty bribes paid off - now, when she decides, she comes purring to sleep in my lap^^

Her name is Shami (from the French word 'chat' and the first two letters of my nickname xD - my father said: "this is your cat, you've always wanted a black cat")

It's been quite the uneventful weekend for me. Except for the fact that I caught a mole in the garden xD a cute, blind , already fattened, alive one ^^ despite some suggestions to kill the poor thing, I couldn't ^^""
So instead I ended up witnessing the following: a happy mole feasting on worms while a kitten insecurely pats the mole from time to time with a paw xD and while I was there musing how funny live is, I couldn't help wondering what was watching over me in that situation... probably some powerful satellites or the green ETs xD

On a side note, just woke up for no reason at all.. okay, there's a reason; taking antibiotics. For some reason, when taking them I either go to sleep around 4 in the morning and wake up around 10, or fall asleep at 10 and wake up around 3. Today's been a mix of both; from 11 at night to 4:43.

Also, holy crap, starting uni this Friday. That is kind of terrifying.

On a completly different note, anyone from here has any experience with laser eye correction? Been considering it for a while, but someone's told me that since your eyesight decreases overtime, the effects of seeing everything pristine last for around 5 years.

Tea... well, it's pretty good, I'll give you that. Any tea. But coffee.. it works wonders. Not even for the boost of focus and energy, but also its taste.. The only coffee that I didnt enjoy drinking was one with salt added.. was up prettty early, confused it with salt =_=

Well, at the end of the day it kept me awake very well, so I guess it served its purpose pretty well.

Hmm.. Yerba Mate is really high on my list.. any oriental tea really. I go to this oriental themed tea place for an Asian/Arabic tea or Yerba Mate, sometimes taking shisha as well. The prices will kill me one day.

Still, I get where you're coming from. It's really good, but coffee has a special place in my heart.

The black and white one. Well he already has around 14 years.. cannot be really sure. He's lived in a few interesting places; a few offices, 3 different houses, Schindler's factory (yup, I do mean the real deal) and a few synagogues. A local rabin brought it to my mother.

Actually, there's a story connected to that; I have a very huge dislike towards Vladimir Putin for one reason. Back in 2012 we had a few school trips organised (as I attended Russian classes, I had the occassion to go for half the price to Sankt Petersburg). Everything was set, 2012 just turned and.. the annexing of Crimea happened. I am still really angry about that. Thanks for ruining my trip Vladdie.

Instead ended up going on a trip to Auschwitz; it's actually really close to my home (~50km), but of course my idiot classmates were misbehaving.. ended up punching one of them and totally got away from that.

Also, due to the dick of a neighbour that I have I'm learning how to defeat vertigo.

Wanted to reply to this post more than 5 times already, but every time something odd kept happening nearby. Among highlights, the vet calling pissed off because I was supposed to take my cat to her. Poor thing got diabetes, have to keep injecting insulin two times a day.

Well, you know me; being as lucky as always :P Nothing too out of the ordinary really. Well, the most interesting thing that has happened to me past those few days is the fact that I took three naps today, slept for more than 13 hours. Pretty much what Alvis meant a few (okay, maybe a bit more) pages ago with messing around with meds.

I keep reading the thread tho., so nothing gets away from my eye.

I have, and the main difference is that LOST ran for 6 seasons and 6 years, while Code Geass had only 2 seasons. Of course a show milked this much is bound to be a trainwreck.

Umm, if you don't like a season of a series then a dislike of it is not misplaced. I mean, your opinion is as good as mine, you have your own reasons while my view on the subject is from a different angle.

Well, I've listed my counterarguemnts in the previous post, and as I said, I view the entire show as one package; it's like disliking a book just judging by one part of it.. then again, it's just my opinion.

To sum it up, imho it just "works". It has its problems, sure, but in the end the entire package works well together and delivers a pleasant experience.

If you guys want to tell me why Code Geass R2 is better than Code Geass, go for it.

I don't believe that anyone has claimed so.

As far as I see Code Geass R2, it is a rehash and retread a lot of the time, without being as well paced or consistent as the original was.

True, it was not consistent, but it was a problem of the entire series.

R2 also had way too many silly plot twists and too many characters with too little development.

I cannot really see the whole argument for too little development.

It's like lots of movies, gotta make the sequel bigger and better but lots of the times that fails.

Well, actually, I'd say that this arguement doesn't work. It's a series, and the second season is the one to conclude all of episodes.

But well, positive things about R2? Refreshing, more unpredictable, not as monotonic.. not to mention the ending.

I'm sure that someone else will make better arguements in defense of it, but to be fair due to the nature of franchise judging just one season alone doesn't work.

Speaking of disappointing shows, tried to come back to anime with a recommendation from my friend; Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru.

It's been almost a year and I'm still yet to touch any other series.

For anyone wondering, the show that made me quit to begin with was Zankyou no Terror (I'm probably gonna get lynched here, but gave up after the 6th episode; I was rooting for the main characters to die so I wouldn't have to look at those douchebags) and Magic Kaito 1412 (wasnt bad, but made me realize I'm wasting my precious time).

I feel like I'm gonna get a lot of flack for this post.

Watching Pupa is like a rough equivalent of being slowly disamblowed for me.

This is extremly hilarious when you remember what Pupa is basically about.

I'll give it one thing, it surely has relatable characters.

It has a manga? o.O Well, the premise itself wasnt that bad.

BRS is okay, there is even subtext in it. Sufficient reason not to totally hate it.

Pupa has one good things, the serie only lasts 35 minutes, so the torture is short.

Black Rock Shooter is on my hate list because it looked cool and had a somewhat okay premise.

It was just plain boring.

The OVA was pretty nice tho.
