It makes sense, though. If Kaga and Zuikaku are off grudgefucking, that leaves Akagi and Shoukaku lonely and alone, and they've got a golden opportunity to get to know each other better and make that love connection.

I like to think Akagi thinks of Shokaku as her younger sister. Although among my ships for Zuikaku is definetly Kaga.
