Come to think of it, we don't see Sanae X Suwako very often, do we? Anyway, this piece was a little anticlimactic, but then again, isn't that just life? What it loses in drama, it gains in realism, and there's something to be said for that.

I would say it's cause of Incest we don't see it much, but all the FlanRemi and SatoKoi mean's that's not the reason...

Hmm. I don't really see it as cheating here, simply because...

A) Suwako almost certainly knows about it already.

B) She loves Sanae, too, and wants to see her happy.

C) She doesn't strike me as the type who would demand all of Kanako's affection. I mean, they're gods, they live for centuries. Their idea of love is probably something far more fundamental than monogamy.

To me it felt like it was pretty much one-sided romantically on Sanae's part.

Yeah I'm not really seeing the cheating thing. As far as I can tell Kanako held Sanae and maybe kissed her on the forehead as she cried.

Unfortunately, no.

What really frustrates me is that one of my favorite doujinka, Yumiya, created a story were there was some kind of crazy epidemic in Gensokyo where girls with unrequited love would grow a penis, and it wouldn't go away until the two of them had sex. Sanae was one such character, and Yumiya actually drew her having sex with Suwako, but they never explored the relationship between the two of them, as they did with Sakuya/Remilia, Mokou/Keine, and to a lesser degree, Momiji/Aya, Parsee/Yuugi, Koishi/Satori, and Eiki/Komachi. There were lots of other characters who this affected, and Yumiya didn't explore any of them, either.

I have never even heard of a doujin where they explore the possibilities that would stem from a romantic relationship between Sanae and Suwako, much less read one (one-shot H-doujins don't count). I wish I could somehow commission a doujin like that from Yumiya. I'd pay good money to read that; no lie.
