They both belong to the same ship class, so I assume they are. I dunno. To be honest, the whole ship girl concept confuses the Hell out of me.

Yep, being of the same class makes them sister ships. Whether that makes Tatsuta and Tenryuu actual sisters is unclear

yeah its been confusing the frig outta me too in some stuff I read about kancolle it says that if their in the same ship class they're sisters but I'm not sure if its just a way of saying that they're so close they may as well be sisters or if they're sisters biologically I dunno hopefully with the anime we'll finally get some answers
