Nearly all the adult confidant pairings are entirely crack ships just through the nature of the game. It's hard to argue if any of them are better even if you prefer them.

I'm surprised some people haven't seen a premium skin before. Lots of games have them and the idea isn't exclusive to games. League isn't even the first company to do them, though they're likely partly the reason they're so popular. I guess if you don't play many games it's easy to not have come across the concept.

Good grief! Live action film of this on Netflix. I don't know if I dare watch it; Ride or Die was so poorly done.

I thought you were lying. I thought this manga was way WAY too obscure and niche to get a live action adaptation. But it actually exists and the reviews are tearing it to shreds.

I love this kind of edgy bullshit. Anyone have anything similar?

If you just want needless, over the top wanton gore and destruction then try Murcielago. Which it seems like everyone has already mentioned. Oops.

If you want more action movie references and hijinks along with a heaping helping of angst then try The Violence Action.

If you just want more light hearted edgy camp then Liberta is great.

On a tangentially related note, if you just want some more poorly written wtf absurdity with no concern for plot or pacing, and heavy emphasis on the D R A M A then give Two Spirals a read. Or just basically anything from Hattori Masahiko.

It's neat that there are some small differences from the anime, namely having Chisato arrive a little early so she can show off her bullet dodging skill. Makes me excited to see what other new things are in store. Maybe it's even gayer!

I'm still not fully certain what GameFreak was thinking from this dynamic. Tinkatons are supposed to be Corviknights natural predators, hell, their hammers are supposed to be made from the scraps of Corviknight armour, yet Tinkaton doesn't naturally learn any move that is super effective against Corviknight.

In fact, they don't get any rock type moves at all through leveling, they have to learn Rock Slide and Stone Edge through TMs. Y'know, the two moves that are the most likely alluded to in their Pokedex entries

On top of that Corviknights are super bulky. They have a base 105 defense stat. Compared to Tinkaton's depressingly mediocre base 75 attack, those rocks would barely be making dents after losing out on STAB. That's even ignoring the fact Rock goes neutral to Steel/Flying or that Corviknight naturally learns Iron Defense. Tinkaton's signature move is steel type, their second highest damaging move is fairy type. Both of which Corviknight resists.

I want to love this dynamic. I love the idea of this dynamic. I do not think GameFreak thought any of this through, however, which bothers me and my dumb stupid OCD nerd brain to no end.
