Out of curiosity, what is the basis in which so many anime get their 'Lick my feet!' trope, from? Does everyone just not-so-secretly know about dominatrix stuff? Or is it a more common bullying/condescending taunt of sorts?

More or less of both I guess? From what I know it's like a reference to 'You're below me' kind of thing as such the 'Lick my feet' trope is more or less likely viewed as a way of appeasing those above them. Well this is more like my understanding to the trope. Hope that helps.

I haven't watched the series yet but this is really cute!

Owners of the site have the last word about how to tag something and if that something is worthy to be here, or not. Period.

I agree with that and it was already mentioned previous pages ago that the staff is going to fix the tagging and will try to confirm it with PITO but... Well another shit storm happened.

And I'm starting to think that some people here don't even care about this doujin. They just want to kick up some dust about an entirely different issue than this story. I keep on talking about it and others keep on dodging it by twisting everything into transphobia. This is irritating and, frankly, offtopic.

As said few previous pages ago, it was mentioned and stuff. The argument had already calmed down by then and I think I saw some talking about the comic itself after it but a new argument rose up and the attention went from there instead. Well, in any case I apologize on their behalf. The whole thing is getting annoying and off course.

Okay, look. For the tagging, it was established that from the translator's post that it was transgender but upon PITO's tweet as translated by bing or google it says futanari but the mods and staff are trying to get into contact with PITO in order to get more clarification to fix the tags.

As for trans women x women not being yuri. You have to draw a line there. Even I'm starting to get pissed off. This argument is dragging on forever. Yuri is a genre about a love between two women. Just because a transgendered woman has a dick doesn't meant it's not yuri. You can't consider that Futanari as well because that literally means Hermaphrodite or Intersex, it entirely depends on how they identify themselves.

Bottom line is it depends on what they identify as in which case in previous pages ago, it was going to be clarified by asking PITO which the staff are trying to do. Only for another shitstorm to blow up.

P.S.: If I offended any transgendered people there with this comment, I apologize. Even the whole argument on this thing is getting to me.

EDIT: Seriously, if it's better to stop the arguing and just wait for the official clarification for the whole thing. Literally a lot of us in the previous pages had already talked about it along with meanmachinery's clarification as apparently they are a part of Idolatrymaster, the one's who translated the comic.

The staff is already trying to get into contact with PITO. Understandable that the tag is confusing as well as the comic being unclear.

With that in mind just stop. Because neither side wants to back down and the whole thing is going to cause another uproar and another new argument to rise.

I just think it's strange that dynasty would have such a transphobic approach to tagging a doujin with a transgendered character, so I'd be very happy if they changed it.

Hmm, well it's being fixed as we speak. It mostly stems from the confusion of the translation of the tweet and the tagging on the original post on the tumblr. But as said, we just have to wait for further clarification or till the tagging is changed.

YuriSensei, I've been wondering where your pic is from? I want to find out more about that kind girl.

Kind of a bummer that lacking explicit authorial permission is being set up as a shield to justify transphobia. Apparently trans goggles must be kept under lock and key. But I'm glad Nez is on team yuri and I do hope they succeed in reaching out to Pito.

Note from above. Rankarana mentioned meanmachinery being part of SAD and Idolatrymaster which the latter being the one(s) who translated PITO's comic. So I think it's pretty much confirmed(?) that the tags are yuri and transgender.

EDIT: I initially just put the ? there cause I'm not sure if it's considered as confirmed or not. Didn't want to confuse or offend anyone in my own understanding of the situation.

In any case, we just have to wait and see for either further confirmation or for the tags to be changed.

The tags Pito read, and approved of, were the ones on that tumblr. Which has a transgender tag, but NOT a futanari one.

Pito linked to the tumblr release on their twitter, and was in contact with the translators about the content of the doujin, including the tags.

Keep in mind that there is a language barrier; Pito described the work in korean. I personally feel it would be better to use the tags used on the tumblr, which got the approval of the original.

Which means yuri and transgender, not futanari.

EDIT: Checked the twitter again, when translating PITO's tweet on the original tweet post the translation will show you "Futanari" but going to the tumblr link where their comic was translated, the tag was "Transgender".

If that's the case, then I definitely agree with the Transgender and Yuri combo.

That's what I have gathered on the tumblr post and the tweet, specifically the person's tag on the translated comic was #trans yo tag which I assumed they tagged it as Transgender if ever I maybe wrong on this, I apologize.

EDIT: Note, one cannot simply rely on Google/Bing translate alone when I initially translated the whole tweet the word "Futanari" popped on the comic but when I removed the other words and simply took what I assumed to be the korean word or phrase for Futanari... Google gave me Afghanistan of all things. Then I removed the other words that was besides it, it gave me Futanari. Whole point is the translator had tagged in Transgender but PITO had mentioned Futanari on their tweet. I think it is right to assume that the tag should be Transgender and Yuri since they are the one who translated it. But as said apologies if I offended anyone this is just my understanding on the matter.

Gotta agree on that. I've seen a lot of fics and some shorts where other LL! girls were paired with Nico.

This was a good read but also a downer. My feels, dude.

Though I do think the tagging should be Transgender and Yuri instead of Futanari and Transgender but that's just my opinion on it. I did double check the twitter as well and even PITO linked it to the tumblr on where their comic got translated, it even had the transgender tag.
