Okay.... Who is the real best girl in all of this? Indou or Kagami?

Ooba-san! I’m in love with her. I’m certain she’s not that simple and sadisticly fucks young girls at nights.

What the fuck? What’s the reasoning behind Kidaha’s and Io’s leave? I could understand if they went away for some time, but forever?! Why, why wasn’t anyone concerned and let her go? Half of the village was dragged by Kidaha’s charm, now how will the village prosper? It’s an end of it, I’m shocked, Mira just ended the village as well as the series, how could she do it? I take everything I said back - stupid plot twist, stupid ending, fuck you, Mira.

It’s not that I don’t get the polygamy aspect of the manga. I don’t mind everyone loving on each other, but my interpretation of Io is that she wasn’t just sleeping with anyone but Kidaha. I feel like she’s completely devoted to her. It’s like watching all the other established couples randomly have sex with a different character. If everyone’s just sleeping around anyway, then what’s the point of even calling themselves “Kidaha’s wives” or bothering to separate from Kidaha when they get together with one another.

Also I don’t recall anyone just messing around as just friends in the previous chapters. (Aside from Katra) Either they expressed love or fell in love after. I’m not saying characters can’t fool around if they want, but aside from kidaha it doesn’t seem like they’re all doing that. Also, Also, going from “I love kidaha, please leave her” to “ok let’s have friendship sex now” caught me off guard.

I don't exactly see how Io is oh-so-devoted to Kidaha, she herself made her sleep with other girls, literally, because she was tired of having constant sex with Kidaha. That pretty much shows her relationships with polygamy - she's all up for it! She treats sex the exact same way Kidaha does, she just didn't need other girls cuz she has weaker libido.

Maybe I'm becoming too open-minded or I don't know but the sex between Katra and Io felt super natural and right to me. That's the point, nobody is nobody's girl, everyone is truly free and loves every member of that village equally. This little act of sex was just an act of friendship and Mira expressed it really well. The two had ideal chemistry, they were thankful to each other and happy that they talked, so sex was like...buying a delicious snack for your partner - a wish to show one's gratitude, to deepen the bound between them. And it was honest because both Katra and Io treat sex as nothing more than showing all sorts of love: for a friend, for a lover etc. Now if Juna hooks up with some random chick - that would feel unnatural.

And hey, Io remains Kidaha's most important woman, so why would she leave? Who said that Kidaha loves Katra the same way as Io? It's obvious the reason is Juna, if Katra paired up with Mifuri and continued to live happily with everyone, Kidaha would treat it the same she always does. But here came Juna - equally strong, arrogant child who rivals Kidaha in her leadership and wants to take one of the girls away, forever. Anyone would get their pride hurt and make a mess out of it, especially Kidaha. So I don't see any problems here.

I never really liked Mira as a storyteller. She was always a porny mangaka to me, one of many who draws pointless hentai, thoughtless sex, beautiful pictures without any sense. But Earth girls and Mira's early works, they prove me wrong. And it's not only genuinly interesting to read her stories, her talent in storytelling, in creating characters, in describing relationships is much bigger than interesting. It flows soooooo naturally, as if I myself is one of her characters and I make the decisions they make. I don't approve what they do, I don't like such lifestyle and I'm against polyamory, but honestly, in this story it feels so right... I would just do the same. I love this feeling when what I read perfectly synchronizes with my mind, such a blessing.

Oh, I like these days when there are 10 times less yuri on Dynasty than yaoi/trap shit that's added everyday.

No, I don't.

I signed a slave contract with my desk, as I'm learning to love slamming my head into it after reading this series. I always say yes.

What a mystirious thing, I did the same. I'm not sure how could anyone who read it do otherwise.

Haha, shit, I hate this plot. Pure slavery with beautiful names and words wrapping it. I wish Itou continued her other works without the concept of human-pets.

I thought the "the moon is beautiful" thing was a reference to the Hachi Itou series. lol

Same! I thought that way she checked whether Kasumi is gay and reads a lot of yuri, but dang, that's not it.

Shitty, badly-written, simply weird. But I'm not surprised by the author.

Focking agree, this blond girl is my alter-ego. I can't put into words my love for breasts. They are just so perfectly soft and tender, how could nature create such a thing, they are impossible idealness.

I looked more closely at that Sui guy's neck, in the recent chapter and in the last one too. It seems that he doesn't really have Adam's apple compared to his brother, for example, and this difference is always showed forced, as if author wants us to notice it. Strange... I feel that she's a woman.

Welp, my guess was right.

No? That's not how any of this works and those are all completely separate matters. TL;DR is the aristocracy (never mind now the royalty) has ever lived by very different rules than the commoners, most cultures have had a tendency to treat itinerant entertainers as just about social untouchables and the female ones as glorified prostitutes, poor women have always resorted to selling their bodies to make ends meet and in the case you somehow forgot prostitution is still kind of a thing nowadays. Indeed there's a good case to be made for its legalisation to help curb the nastier byproducts of the procession and enfranchising those engaging in it.

Also women selling their sexual services is something very different from "women are sold" - indeed these ones don't even work through some kind of middleman (a "pimp" or "madam") and there's zero indication of this society having provisions for treating people as a tradeable commodity (AKA "slavery").

Yeah, yeah, everything is unrelated and separate, culture is born from a vacuum and other stories I'll read in my next life.

Extremely dark and uncomfortable, especially about prostitutes and poverty and deaths. It's also kinda unlogical: age and world where you can just say "Um, no thanks, I won't suck some old guy's dick because of political bullshit", and lesbianism isn't exactly prohibited, but prostitution exists and the women are sold nonetheless. This is unrealistic.

I like Mira's late works because of lesbian world she created with (almost) no signs of men, and there this setting would fit. But the story in this one and in Candy Moon are more pleasant and serious. It's kinda even deep here and more realistic and detailed in terms of character development.

Well, I'll read it anyway. Hope it gets less, um, whory?

Is it worth to watch this anime? It seems popular in yuri circles, does it have actual yuri or at least subtext?

I have to say it: Takebe looks just like me with that constant frown. It's like I'm watching myself going through the life looking at everybody with scary eyes not really meaning it.
