Nothing is necessarily "wrong" with it as a whole. It's just that the vast majority of yuri has it.

Some ladies dig scissoring (I've met more than my share), others don't. But at the end of the day, diversity in sex scenes helps in making the visual storytelling better as a while (and a bit more inclusive).
