Anyway, I liked that little backstory, but I'd like more "concrete evidence" kind of thing for Hoshino's obsession with Hanai. I don't want any half assed, "oh, she just fell in love at second sight with her" kind of shizzazz. Like, yeah it could happen, but no.

What are they at the point of the flashback, in grade school? This wasn't meant to establish any feelings beyond trying to win someone's approval.

The fan fiction I've read

Fixed that for you.

please her bi egotistical being

Yes, I can see how you have nothing against bisexuals considering the way you rant about avoiding them like they have the fucking plague. Damn that Ririko for dating someone else instead of waiting for years under the sakura trees on the off-chance that Kiwa makes up her mind, what an egotistical bitch!

God, this thread is asinine.

Kimi Koi Limit: het girls falling in love with G. all of a sudden.

What girls in that story precisely? The lesbian? The other lesbian? Or the lesbian in denial who is a virgin and "never understood what it means to like someone"? Yeah, what character derailment there...

You have your teen fiction (yuri) and your adult fiction (shoujo-ai). It's all fiction, but one's more complex than the other.

Heh, funny. Namely that most young adult lesbian fiction revolves around love pretty early on while the adult fiction (and I'm not talking about erotic fiction, mind) generally starts with a physical attraction before anyone even thinks about using the word love. You know, how it usually goes in reality.

Yuri on the other hand? If it isn't twu wuv, especially before they had sex, it's mindless lesbian porn apparently. This story is about two girls who are attracted to each other but had their relationship sabotaged from going any further by girl clique gossip about another girl's sex life - which isn't the eternal wellspring of truth some people seem to think it is. They meet each other again, still share that attraction and might have a chance to actually start something meaningful. Truly mindless compared to the complex literary juggernauts that are your typical "but we're both girls and I had an indirect kiss with her!" romance one-shots.

I think you are starting to get delusional and make stuff up right...about...here:

So, the woman was still getting married and they decided to have sex just once anyway.

because there was no real distinction

Except that it's labeled credits, contains said credits, has a huge title card which you never ever see on a last page ever and is in an entirely different color.
