Sure there are hints and signs and the usual bullshit, but in this case I think it there to show what an odd person Kumiko is - whatever her sexuality, she just has a very strange way of relating to people. Over and over again, she quickly gets involved with someone on a much deeper level than would be "normal", with the male teacher as well as with several of her female classmates.

You're making it sound like Kumiko interacts with Reina the same way she interacts with her Classmates/Teachers. Throughout the show, Kumiko seems to act in a very strange way around Reina. A way that make's it seem that she could have some feelings for her, and in a way that she never acts around her friends.

That is the point of the show, and the purpose of her interactions with Reina. Just because their relationship isn't the relationship you decided it was doesn't mean the show lied to you. It means you deliberately ignored any evidence that counters your views.

This "evidence" that the show has given me is just a bunch of mixed messages. The show tells us that Reina has a crush on the teacher but it doesn't really expand beyond that,There aren't any interactions between Reina & the Teacher that suggest that she likes him. All the show tells us is that she seems to have feelings for him. On the other hand with Kumiko though, Kumiko's interactions with Reina are unlike any of her interactions with her other friends or Teachers. These interactions highly suggest that Kumko might be in love with Reina.

It put in some extra amounts of subtext to get some extra fans.

Subtext isn't anything new.
Besides, I don't see why it being heavy on the subtext invalidates every other single aspect of the series

The animation was brilliant (It's KyoAni so that's not really a surprise), The side characters were pretty annoying and unnecessary, The Plot wasn't anything special, The Drama was a bit contrived & the OST was pretty good. So overall the series wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either. I'd give the series a 3/5 had it not been for the the fact that all of these aspects I just mentioned were overtaken by the insanely large amounts of Subtext that lead to nowhere.

The series is obviously more than just its ships. If that's all you see and let yourself be disappointed by, then isn't it really your expectations that let you down? Let's just ignore absolutely everything else about the series and focus on how it isn't yuri?

The series practically shoves ships in our faces and leads us on to believe that Yuri is going to play a major role in it. This series make's us believe that Kumiko & Reina might lead to something, Except it doesn't, It leads to nothing. The only reason this series ever gave us these boatloads of Subtext is because they just want to lure some Yuri fans in. That's my main problem with this series, It put in some extra amounts of subtext to get some extra fans.

I know that this is only the first chapter, but this was pretty boring to read. The whole "Girl who's had to many boyfriends goes through yet another break up and her close friend has a crush on her" premise could be in a One-shot. I don't really see this as worth reading.

Here's a summary of manga raw spoilers that I've seen on 4chan for those of you who may be interested.

Kotone's fiancee is a woman who is in love with Kotone's older sister, who was married off to a man. The fiancee eventually calls off the arranged marriage, so Kotone and Shizuku can go to America and get married or something if they want.

After some sexual tension, Kaede finally confesses to Yuzu. I'm a bit muddy on the details here, but it seems like Yuzu accepts Kaede's feelings but doesn't consider them to be dating. Kaede kisses Yuzu's cheek and says she'll just have to win her over when they go to college.

Haruka wants to go to a cooking college with Yuu. Haruka's parents and Yuu are against it. At this point, Yuu's frustration over what her relationship with Haruka actually is reaches a breaking point, and she proclaims she and Haruka won't kiss anymore until they're 'lovers'.

Oh, and Mitsuki is over Haruka and has begun to take notice of Rina.

Kyouko even states that she's not behaving normally before Sayaka, suddenly very touchy-feely, looks at her with Yandere eyes and states that she no longer cares about her former lover. This image is very clearly showing someone going into a weird post-breakup depression.

Yandere eyes? Those don't look like Yandere eyes at all. What the image was trying to say was that Sayaka doesn't care about Kyousake not because she's obsessed with Kyouko, But because her heart leans towards her now. There's a difference between Obsession and love, Rebellion show's us that.

You don't get over someone that quick. Sayaka was ready to live the Magical Girl life presumably forever just to give Kyousuke his arms back. This image looks so much like she is in a deep depression combined with some rebounding. She is full Yandere at this point and would probably go devil mode right now if there was a Madoka nearby to tear apart.

You're making it sound like Kyousake is the reason Sayaka was suffering. But here's the thing, Sayaka wasn't suffering because of Kyousake. Or rather, Kyousake is just a very minor reason why Sayaka was suffering. The main reason Sayaka was suffering was because of her realization that she wasn't human. She couldn't take the fact that her soul was basically just turned into Jewelry and is basically a Lich.

They didn't stop flowing, Tears kept coming, One after the other. She was uncontrollably sobbing knowing that the only person she had only developed feelings for, The only person who had made her realize why she became a magical girl, The only person who she could ever hold dearly in her heart........Was gone.....Forever.

Now I rarely ever read Fan-fictions (Yet alone recommend them). But This PMMM Fanfic is really fucking amazing

It's not finished yet though. One chapter remains to be finished but still, You guys should really read it. It's KyoukoxSayaka & MadokaxHomura (But mostly Kyouko x Sayaka, Madoka & Homura are just side characters that only appear for the light-hearted moments). The thing I really love about this FanFic is that it's switching back and fourth between Angst/Drama and Light-hearted/Fluffy. It gives the reader an even balance between the two. Not overdoing the Drama and not overdoing the Fluff. Also the drama is done a lot better then a lot of Yuri manga's I've read. Once again, I can't recommend this enough, Highly recommended for Yuri fans.
