But what I really want to know is: does anyone know what is the deal with eye patches in manga? It always gets on my nerves every time I see a character with eye patch :/
Well in this case she has an eyepatch to kind of mock the trend. Chunibyo is about these characters that have 8th grader's disease (Chunibyo) which is a term used to describe embarrassing things you did when you were a kid like pretending you had some mysterious power or that you were overly special. So she has a "special eye" that she covers with that eyepatch.
