So...Zelda is the only game that'll be ready by launch?

Oh shit! They ARE making a FE warriors game? I had that idea in my head for months...now let's see if they actually put Anri in the game, his story seems fitting for this style of game.

And another No more heroes? Lol fuck yeah!

So...Zelda is the only game that'll be ready by launch?

That and the 1.2. switch thingy iirc.

Edit: I forgot to mention how much I hate the fact Nintendo joined the darkside by making us pay to play online, like the other 2. Fuck fuckity fuck fuck!

My prediction is all the gimmicky launch games tossed together to show off the new technology will be utterly forgotten within three months. Then maybe a year or even two later, someone will come up with some decent games that take advantage of it.

That kind of sounds familiar. I am reminded of how the early launch titles of Xbox One and PS4 were a bunch of graphical showcases of the machines instead of actually mechanically polished games. Except it felt like it took longer than a year or two before the good stuff came in.

This cycle has been pretty much present in previous consoles as well. I only bought my PS3 at launch because, even if it were costly it was still cheaper than just a vanilla blu-ray reader and was a console as well. Those were crazy days.

This is why I just bought my PS4 bundle this Christmas. Unless someone was a big fan of X game or did not have a PC able to run current games then there's not that much incentive to buy at/or close to launch.

Playing 'Kindered Spirits on Rooftop'.

So far there are couple of yuri pairing.

But the quality of yuri isn't really good.

This is the first time i'm skipping one of yuri pairing in yuri novel.

I guess it's true that 'quality is better than quantity'.

But i don't feel as much others.

Have you ever played 'Kiss for Petals'? It's far better than Kindred so far.

I don't think there're many people who haven't heard of Sono Hanabira at this point. I'd have to respectfully disagree though on that last statement. While Sono Hanabira isn't bad, kindreds is just better imo because of its characters and the dynamic of each relationship in-game (not just romantic). Especially the characters though. I remember when I played the New Generation Sono Hanabira game (The one with three couples released last year), I still thought that Kindreds had more grounded characters and less cliche dialogue than this one. Plus, every so often some Kindreds background music will just pop into my head and get stuck there, especially the one with the humming. They must have done something right with the music for that to happen.

Only issue I had with it is that the presence of choices made me think there were some form of routes in the game, so that seemed misleading. Also putting my bias in I feel like Ano was greatly underutilized and what kind of injustice was that.

I found some of characters pairing in Kindered way too forced and uninteresting.

The story of that rockstar girl and her gf was so much forced and cringy that i have to skip their story just so that i could go to more bearable stories.

I guess becuz of too characters, there is little to zero character development except for Megumi and Sachi.

That's why i said 'quality is sometimes better than quantity'.

'Kiss for Petals' had few characters and the development is more realistic and believable.

Not that anyone believes you whenever you criticise works for being unrealistic and misrepresentative, but ayy shit bruh what are you smoking
The first game legit had MC catch senpai masturbating to her gym clothes in a classroom and ofc, they proceed to have sex afterwards
Oh wow nice good job dude A+ for realistic lesbian representation??? If this is what you think is believable then I'm sorry to burst your bubble here, but porn scenarios are often faaar from being realistic smh

Really? It's a het series? There are more than 1 part of this?

But the one i'm playing only 'New Generation' and character development in it is really feeling natural and believable. I really don't know which part are you talking about?

And as far as porn goes, this novel had sex scenes after a good time in the story. I have played enough games to know porn isn't everything. Otherwise, i would have quit playing 'Kindered Spirits' or 'Angel Reborn' already. I never said i hate Kindered Spirits. I just said one of its side story is not interesting at all and i'm enjoying New Generation more.

Idk why you guys take the meaning of my comment to a 360° turn :/

You know if you wanna get shocked how many people actually think nudity and sex is good lesbian represention, go to discussion of 'What does the fox says'. That manga is nothing but cheating and sex without any real life represention of lesbian yet people keep saying how it is more realistic than any other manga. Lmao....

Like i already said i'm not one of those people.

I'm legit describing to you how the first game of the Kiss for the Petals series started, why would you assume that MC = a guy?

Unless you didn't know that Sono Hanabira is like, a series of multiple VNs

Yes, enjoying another game isn't a problem at all, that's totally fine, no one gaf about that

Because your criteria for realistic lesbian representation makes zero sense, and it's legit a topic you keep bringing up everywhere to trash different works, when you clearly know very little about the subject

Plot went way over your head for that one. The characters' flaws and the conflicting decisions they make have like nothing to do with their sexuality. It literally could have been a story with heterosexual characters, and no one would have freaked out about "heterosexual misrepresentation", because it's legit not the point. It's a complicated, dramatic af story about these queer women's love lives, it's not actually saying that "yep this is standard lesbian behaviour, lesbians are all emotionally conflicted cheating assholes, spread the word"
You're really reading too much into it man

I have read the story. Wanna know a secret? I quite frankly enoyed it and read it every release with hope till it turned out into a cheating and sex fest.

Hey, you wanna hear the shot story of so called "complicated, real queer women" story in 2 lines?

'A manager falls in love with her employee but couldn't keep her relation like a normal lesbian becuz she was too horny and was fucking her friend constantly while dating the poor employee"

Lmao, that's only 1 line. And this is so called "true represention of lesbian".

Making every lesbian character cheat in your story isn't going to make it dramatic, it makes it cheap and lazy even more than adding a male romance. When i read this manhwa all i see is a potentially good manhwa destroyed by forceful and unrealistic cheating circle.

Anyways, this is gaming topic. Manhwa shouldn't be talked here. I don't want another mod here.

Back on topic, i just find New Generation a little more interesting than Kindered Spirits. I can't say about its other versions though.

A-anyways, moving on...

Pre-loaded Extella a few days ago, so I get to play it as soon as it got released. Already has a lot of yuri in the first few interactions thanks to Saber. That whole spiel about it being a standalone game is nonsense though. It seems to like inserting references from the previous games here, so there's nothing standalone about this.

Edit: Also, because this game takes place at the end of the Holy Grail War and Nero and Hakuno (FeMC) are already close, Nero is more affectionate now than she ever has been from the start.

Seriously, the levels of flirting here is unreal; mostly because of Hakuno herself though, which is the most surprising part. In the previous games she usually just takes all the flirting from all the women around her in stride, and now she's much more reactive to them. Even Nero is taken aback.

For some reason Tamamo uses plural pronouns now to refer to herself though. The game also reuses the soundtrack from CCC, which is completely fine by me since it was pretty good.

...Um. Right then.

First of all, Saber is a class, so there're multiple Sabers.

Second, Artoria Pendragon (saber in the anime) is canonically bisexual.

Third, the saber I'm talking about is Nero Claudius (who is also bisexual). I already posted a screenshot of her in a post a while back in this thread. It's fairly recent. She looks exactly like Artoria. Here's the link:

Ah i forget. This series has more spin off and sequel than it has characters.

Not saying a bad things, just something that is holding it back.

Finally managed to start with Highway Blossoms, Yuri VN on Steam from a while ago... a few hours into it already.

For quite a while I've been looking for a plot-driven yuri that just isn't the shit soap opera drama that almost every plot-driven yuri is.

Girls meet, go adventuring. Characters having their own issues to deal with not pertaining to the romance, but to itself, not treated as a big melodramatic show. Feelings develop as they grow closer being a byproduct almost like a real romance begins, unlike in so many mangas... Rarely see all this together in yuri handled decently.

Not made by eastern people too, feels quite refreshing. Shows in the writing quality too.
Art is pleasant to look at, nice color palette.

Really enjoying it so far

...Holding it back from what? All of the other Fate series just add to the overall lore since they all share the same history to take heroic spirits from anyways. It's not like the writer is preoccupied with the other series since they're all written by different writers each. There's also only one "sequel" to the original Fate/Stay Night: Fate/Hollow Ataraxia, which follows none of the routes. Lastly, there are no more stories that can be told with the mainline series.
